Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP FSCD Technical Consultant with strong technical expertise in the insurance and financial services domain. The role focuses on delivering and supporting SAP FSCD technical solutions, collaborating with functional teams and business stakeholders, and ensuring stable, high-quality system performance within SAP FSCD environments.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Analysis & Technical Translation

• Collaborate with finance and insurance stakeholders to understand complex business requirements.
• Translate functional requirements into detailed technical designs and specifications.
• Provide technical input to ensure solutions align with SAP FSCD capabilities and best practices.

Solution Design & Technical Implementation

• Design, develop, configure, and support SAP FSCD technical solutions.
• Provide technical support for FSCD master data and transactional data.
• Support system enhancements and configuration changes across FSCD modules.

FSCD Process Support

• Provide technical expertise across key SAP FSCD processes, including:
  • Invoicing
  • Payment plans
  • Payment lots and return lots
  • Payment runs
  • Document posting
  • Subledger account determination
  • Reversals and write-offs

Technical Development & Customization

• Develop, enhance, and support custom objects (WRICEF) within SAP FSCD.
• Prepare and maintain detailed technical and functional specifications.
• Perform advanced ABAP debugging and performance optimization.
• Utilize SAP FSCD-specific frameworks and tools, including:
  • FQEVENTS
  • Mass Activity Framework
  • Business Data Toolset (BDT)

Integration Awareness & Tools

• Possess working knowledge of SAP PI and SAP CPI to support and troubleshoot integration-related issues.
• Collaborate with integration teams to resolve data and interface issues.
• Use Jira and Confluence for defect tracking, documentation, and Agile delivery.

Support & Continuous Improvement

• Provide production support, incident management, and root cause analysis.
• Manage enhancements, bug fixes, and system improvements.
• Proactively identify opportunities for automation and performance optimization.

Required Skills & Experience

• Extensive hands-on experience as an SAP FSCD Technical Consultant.
• Strong ABAP development and debugging skills within SAP FSCD.
• Solid understanding of insurance business processes and FSCD financial accounting.
• Experience with full lifecycle SAP FSCD implementations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with business and functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience delivering SAP FSCD technical solutions.
• Strong exposure to FSCD-specific custom development and SAP frameworks.
• Experience working on FSCD implementation and support projects.
