Equipment Service Engineer

Location: Ideally based in Kent (with travel across the West Midlands, South Wales & South West UK)

We’re currently looking for a proactive, hands-on Equipment Service Engineer to join our growing service team.  In this dynamic role, you’ll be supporting a range of valued customers across the South East, West Midlands, South Wales, and South West UK—playing a key role in maintaining the high standards they rely on.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintaining and servicing chemical dosing systems and installing new lines to support product trials.
  • Responding swiftly to breakdowns to minimise downtime and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Supporting performance improvements and assisting in the design and setup of custom trial units tailored to specific applications.
  • Managing and organising spare parts inventory to ensure quick access and system reliability.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of control systems that optimise dosing performance.
  • Collaborating closely with customers and internal teams to deliver consistent, high-quality service.

This is a hands-on, highly varied position where your technical expertise and problem-solving abilities will be essential to delivering exceptional service in the field.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who combines technical know-how with excellent customer-facing skills. You’ll need:

  • A Time-Served Apprenticeship, ONC, or higher qualification in Electrical Engineering (experience in water treatment or pulp & paper is a plus).
  • 18th Editon/BS7671 Wiring regulations qualified
  • ​A strong background in industrial equipment servicing or maintenance.
  • Extensive troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively.
  • Good IT skills and written communication abilities.
  • Flexibility to travel and stay away overnight when required.
  • Experience or interest in automation or project management is an advantage
  • A full UK driving license is essential
