What You Will Be Doing

leading or managing software engineers.
• Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams responsible for developing and
operating production software.
• Strong technical foundation in backend software development, APIs, distributed systems,
cloud architectures, and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience managing software development through the full lifecycle, including
planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and production operations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage priorities, dependencies, risks, and delivery across
complex technical initiatives.
• Experience setting goals, providing feedback, coaching engineers, and supporting
individual performance and career development.
• Experience recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding software engineering talent.
• Ability to partner effectively with Product Management and translate product and
business objectives into engineering plans.
• Strong understanding of software quality, testing, CI/CD, observability, reliability, and
operational excellence.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and modern cloud-based
application architectures.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to balance technical
quality, delivery speed, customer needs, and business priorities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work
effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience working with Agile development methodologies and frameworks.
