You work as part of a cross-functional team to lead and deliver the activities required to complete Process Design and Process Deployment for Innovation, Growth and Productivity projects across multiple geographies with an emphasis on delivering the desired consumer experience
How you will contribute
With the support and guidance of a manager, you will organize and execute projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, effectively communicating status and risks. You will complete IDBs, plan and conduct pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements. You will also write technical reports that will require the analysis and interpretation of results and that lead to conclusions and recommendations and create and maintain accurate process specifications.

What you need to know about this position:
The holder of this position will be accountable for the process R&D aspects within the IIM framework for projects related to the MDLZ-Lotus Bakeries partnership. Projects could cover all platforms, e.g. tablets, countlines. The right person for this role delivers the technical knowledge for the function, develops solutions to problems, whilst ensuring compliance to technical policies & procedures. This will require working in a cross-functional project team working with ISC, marketing, procurement, suppliers, external manufacturers and other RDQ functions.

Education / Certifications:
Scientific/Technical Degree in a food related field or equivalent experience.
Travel requirements:
You will be required to travel to MDLZ sites, suppliers and external manufacturers as projects require ~20% of time
Work schedule:
Full-time (37hrs, flexible)

What you need to know about this position:

- 3+ years experience working within an RDQ environment within the food industry, ideally within process development roles. Experience within confectionery categories is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of chocolate category regarding raw materials, processing, manufacturing and formulation fundamentals.
- Good understanding of RDQ product and process specifications
- Proficient English is a must, German language skills are an advantage
