Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly organized and client-focused Engagement Manager to lead implementation projects of our Customer Data Platform (CDP) and AI suite of products for our enterprise customers, Fortune 1000 companies with nationwide and global operations. This role is crucial to ensuring a smooth, on-time, and value-driven implementation experience.
In this role, you will work cross-functionally with clients and internal teams – both technical and business SMEs – to understand marketing use cases, capture requirements, and integration needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Lead and manage end-to-end software implementation projects, including planning, execution, delivery, and post-go-live transition
Define and manage project scope, timelines, dependencies, resources, and budgets.
Identify risks, manage issues proactively, and ensure client expectations are met or exceeded
Manage several small projects simultaneously, or drive a single marquee project
Support Program Manager in preparing and conducting Steering Committee meetings with client’s senior leadership
Serve as the primary implementation point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships with both technical and business stakeholders
Translate marketing and business use cases into technical implementation plans
Cross-functional coordination and business analysis:
Drive discovery sessions to identify data sources, requirements, and desired marketing outcomes.
Work with clients to define technical and business KPIs, prioritize roadmap use cases.
Serve as liaison between the client on the one hand and Solutions Engineers, Product Managers and Data Engineers on the other.
Training, Enablement & Change Management:
Guide clients through the onboarding, training and enablement process
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation for each client implementation,
Assist with client training and best practices to ensure strong adoption
Post-implementation, track and report on key implementation KPIs
Provide feedback to product and engineering teams to improve platform usability and deployment efficiency.
Qualifications:
2–4 years of experience managing software implementations in a multi-functional, client-facing environment.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or Marketing, or related fields.
Strong understanding of typical SDLC methodologies; hands-on experience in Agile development and proficiency in tools like Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, etc.
Experience in or solid understanding of how SaaS solutions are sold and adopted, e.g. licensing arrangements, RFPs, Statements of Work, and how professional services are provided around platform delivery and adoption.
Strong interest and preferably experience in AI solutions, for example, consultation around AI strategy and use cases, understanding of Agentic AI solutions, exposure to Machine Learning or LLM models and implementation.
Preferably experience in Martech industry, with exposure to the martech ecosystem, including CDP, automation tools (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Braze), CRMs (e.g., Salesforce), and digital advertising platforms.
Experience in marketing and advertising, or solid understanding of customer journeys, audience segmentation, types of marketing campaigns etc. is a plus.
Experience at a management or technology consulting firm is a plus

The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications and prior experience.
