Simple Machines is a global technology consultancy that helps the world’s leading enterprises engineer data, AI, and software to life. From designing intelligent data platforms to enabling enterprise-scale AI solutions, we combine technical depth with real-world execution to deliver measurable business impact.

We operate across the UK, Poland, Australia, New Zealand, and the US, with a team made up entirely of senior professionals who thrive on solving complex problems with clarity, precision, and purpose.

We believe in craftsmanship over scale, elegance over excess, and substance over slogans.

About the TA function

Our success depends on hiring exceptional people — and we’re looking for a high-performing Talent Sourcer & Coordinator who can hunt, engage, and manage top-tier talent with precision.

You’ll be joining a fast-paced, high-accountability environment where autonomy, organisation, and results matter. This role sits at the heart of our Talent function — blending deep sourcing capability with flawless coordination execution

The Role

As a Senior Talent Partner, you’ll take ownership of the full front-end talent acquisition process — from identifying and engaging technical talent, to orchestrating interviews, managing candidate experience, and maintaining impeccable operational discipline.

You’ll work closely with Global Leadership, Technology Directors, and report into the TA Leadership team in Sydney, to build proactive pipelines, execute sourcing campaigns, and keep our recruitment operations running like a machine.

This role suits someone who’s strategic, obsessive about detail, and thrives in an environment where precision and pace are non-negotiable.

  • This will be initially a 6 month-contract, with a view to convert to perm.
  • You must reside near London, as this is a hybrid role and requires in-office meetings and in-person interviews.
  • Sponsorship is not currently an option for this role.
  • Salary range: 60,000 - 80,000 GBP Base + benefits.

Requirements

Talent Coordination & Operations

  • Own the end-to-end interview coordination process — scheduling, logistics, communication, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Ensure a seamless candidate experience from first contact to offer stage.
  • Manage ATS data integrity, ensuring all candidate records, stages, and feedback are consistently up to date.
  • Support offer processes, reference checks, and onboarding logistics where required.
  • Track and report on key talent metrics (pipeline velocity, conversion rates, candidate feedback).
Sourcing & Market Intelligence
  • Build and execute multi-channel sourcing strategies to identify high-calibre technology and consulting professionals across EMEA.
  • Conduct deep talent and market mapping across competitor organisations and niche skill sets.
  • Partner with Talent leadership and Hiring Managers to translate complex technical briefs into actionable sourcing campaigns.
  • Engage and nurture passive candidates through personalised outreach and consistent follow-up.
  • Maintain a strong grasp of market trends, candidate motivations, and emerging skill sets in the data and technology sectors.

What You Bring

  • 3–6 years’ experience in Talent Sourcing, Talent Coordination, or full-cycle TA within Technology Consulting and/or Professional Services.
  • Proven success in identifying, engaging, and converting passive candidates in competitive technical markets.
  • Exceptional organisational and coordination skills — can manage 10+ pipelines and multiple interview schedules simultaneously without dropping detail.
  • Highly autonomous — able to self-prioritise and deliver outcomes without constant direction.
  • Deep understanding of technology roles (Data, Cloud, Software Engineering, DevOps, AI, etc.) and the consulting delivery model.
  • Strong stakeholder communication — able to influence, push back, and manage expectations confidently.
  • Proficiency in ATS/CRM systems (Workable, Rippling or similar) and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, SeekOut, AI search tools).
  • Driven by metrics and performance — measured by quality, speed, and candidate experience, not just activity volume.
Why Join Us
  • Be part of a strategic, high-performance Talent function embedded within a world-class consulting business.
  • Operate with genuine autonomy and accountability — no micromanagement, just clear outcomes.
  • Partner directly with leadership and delivery teams on mission-critical hiring.
  • A culture that values precision, growth, and excellence in everything we do.
  • Real measurable impact in a fast growing global consulting business.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
