The role involves acting as a spokesperson for Omnisend, sharing insights on ecommerce trends, and shaping external narratives. Responsible for building personal brand and providing thought leadership content.
Working at Omnisend is... kind of boring.
Not the soul-crushing kind of boring — more like the “no drama, no chaos, just smart people doing great work” kind. The kind that lets you focus on what matters, without pointless meetings, micromanagement, or bureaucracy. We’re data-driven. We test, we iterate, we improve. Gut feelings don’t drive decisions — insights do. We trust each other. We’re transparent, give real feedback, and actually listen. No egos, no hand-holding — just a team of experienced professionals moving fast, adapting easily, and delivering impact. Omnisend is customer-funded and customer-driven. Our work is rooted in solving real problems that help ecommerce brands grow. No empty promises — we bring in results. And yes, we have fun. But the grown-up kind — workations, team gatherings, the occasional party. No forced fun, no awkward icebreakers. Just genuine moments with a team that actually enjoys working together.
We are looking for a public-facing ecommerce professional to join our PR team as a thought leader and spokesperson. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the narrative of modern digital retail while growing your own personal brand as an industry expert.
We’re not just looking for a writer - we’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to speak up. Someone who understands the dynamics of running or scaling ecommerce businesses, and who can articulate trends, insights, and challenges in a way that resonates with media, audiences, and the industry at large.
What you’ll do @Omnisend:
- Act as a spokesperson for Omnisend in public-facing contexts (e.g., media interviews, podcasts, webinars, events)
- Share strategic insights into ecommerce trends, challenges, and marketing best practices
- Collaborate with the PR team to shape our external narrative and messaging
- Contribute commentary, thought leadership content, and opinion pieces (ghostwritten or bylined)
- Build or expand your personal brand as an ecommerce voice, supported by our team and channels
- Help with product and thought leadership strategy
We expect that you’ll bring:
- Hands-on experience in ecommerce, either as a founder, operator, growth strategist, or advisor
- A strong point of view on how modern ecommerce is evolving (bonus if you've built an audience online)
- Confidence in speaking publicly and being quoted in the media
- Ability to stay on top of industry trends and sharing commentary or hot takes
- Ability to write and communicate with clarity, conviction, and credibility
- Curiosity, collaborativeness, and interest in being part of a marketing-forward team
What we offer in return:
- An unlimited learning budget for self-improvement complying with the best interest of Omnisend
- Working methods and best practices inspired by the best tech companies in Silicon Valley
- Senior colleagues that enable us to have a high-performing, productive environment where your growth will accelerate
- Private health insurance
- Flexible working hours and remote work possibilities
- Unlimited access to psychotherapy
- A workstation budget
- Personalized work anniversary gifts (house cleaning, spas, international flights & more that you choose depending on the year)
- Attractive company-led yearly workation abroad and team-led team-building events

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene
If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
