What this job can offer you

The Director of Sales Development for EMEA is a strategic leader responsible for scaling and optimizing Remote’s Sales Development function across EMEA. This role requires deep expertise in inbound (SDR), account-focused outbound (ADR), and nurture outbound (BDR) motions, driving pipeline development and consistently achieving high conversion and engagement rates.

What you bring
  • Significant years experience in sales/sales development, with at least several years in leadership roles managing inbound, account-based outbound, and nurture outbound sales motions.
  • Proven experience scaling and optimizing high-performance teams within the SaaS or technology sectors.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with a proven track record of leveraging data to drive strategy and execution.
  • Exceptional talent management skills, prioritizing diversity, inclusion, and performance excellence.
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with experience aligning cross-functional teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of sales dynamics and market nuances within the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and scale a diverse Sales Development team covering inbound qualification, targeted account-based outbound, and nurture-driven pipeline creation.
  • Collaborate closely with GTM leadership to execute strategic initiatives aligning Sales Development activities with overall sales and marketing strategies.
  • Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making, using analytics to optimize performance across ADR, BDR, and SDR teams.
  • Continuously refine lead-scoring methodologies, outbound messaging frameworks, and engagement strategies to enhance conversion efficiency.
  • Develop and implement clear career progression paths, ensuring high potential team members have growth opportunities within Remote’s broader sales organization.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of industry trends and innovative sales practices, ensuring Remote’s Sales Development remains agile and competitive.

At first glance our salary bands seem quite wide - here is some context. At Remote we have international operations and a globally distributed workforce. We use geo ranges to consider geographic pay differentials as part of our global compensation strategy to remain competitive in various markets while we hiring globally.

The base salary range for this full-time position is between $190,500- $321,400 USD. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.
