At Allstate, great things happen when our people work together to protect families and their belongings from life’s uncertainties. And for more than 90 years, our innovative drive has kept us a step ahead of our customers’ evolving needs. From advocating for seat belts, air bags and graduated driving laws, to being an industry leader in pricing sophistication, telematics, and, more recently, device and identity protection.

Your role in the team

As a Digital Product Manager, you will turn strategic vision into tangible outcomes, whether through a story, a design or code. Your hands-on work with raw data will generate meaningful, actionable insights that influence the direction of your product team and surrounding teams. The role calls for innovative thinking, independent execution, clear communication, and agile problem-solving.
You learn and adapt quickly, using software, data, analytics, and other tools to understand and tackle complex problems. Working through problem statements and defining success before the team writes code, you contribute to architecture, user experience and business discussions to drive collective success.
You will join a growing product management team focused on Enterprise Customer Acquisition System (ECAS). As part of this team, you embrace evolving projects and goals, dedicate time to continuous learning and improvement, and take initiative while keeping the bigger picture in focus. Your contribution spans design sessions, analytical discussions and retrospectives, using new modelling techniques or tools to innovate and collaborate with technical and non-technical teammates to define product goals and execute a shared strategy

Key responsibilities

  • Craft and execute a comprehensive product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements and ensuring alignment across the product portfolio to meet product goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user needs, define problem statements and establish what must be true to achieve intended outcomes before development begins.
  • Advocate for and design seamless user experiences, from concept through to execution.
  • Own and refine the product backlog, translating prioritized needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria, and partner with engineering teams on Agile planning and delivery.
  • Partner with engineering, architecture and data teams to identify and deliver Generative AI use cases, validating feasibility, output quality and user value through prototypes and experiments.
  • Define and track product success measures, analyzing usage, user feedback and performance data to evaluate outcomes and guide continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate product releases and adoption activities with cross-functional teams, managing dependencies, delivery risks and readiness to support successful launches and ongoing use.
  • Communicate product priorities, progress and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders, building alignment on decisions, expectations and business value.

Essential Skills

  • All candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK. Allstate is unable to provide sponsorship for this position.

  • Minimum 1 year’s hands-on experience working with Google AI, Azure Cognitive Services or AWS Machine Learning.
  • Experience integrating Generative AI into products.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies, including iterations, point systems and refinement, with the ability to adapt and work effectively through ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex data, independently analyze and query it to identify insights and patterns, and use findings to inform product decisions.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience executing and scaling products using Generative AI or Agentic AI.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and coding skills in Python.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
