About the role

We are hiring a hands-on, mid-level Product Owner with a strong experimentation mindset to drive Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) across our high-traffic funnels. You will partner closely with Engineering and Design to run daily tests, learn quickly from data, and iterate fast. This is ideal for a data-driven operator who enjoys seeing impact quickly, is light on their feet, and is comfortable doing scrappy manual work when needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a fast experimentation cadence: design, launch, and analyze A/B/MVT tests daily across landing pages, onboarding, pricing, paywalls, and key user flows.

  • Frame hypotheses and success metrics upfront; ensure statistical rigor (power calculations, guardrails, stopping rules) and clean handoffs to analysis.

  • Prioritize by expected impact (ICE), speed-to-learn, and compounding effects; keep a transparent CRO roadmap.

  • Partner with Engineering and Design to scope small, high-leverage changes; write crisp specs and acceptance criteria.

  • Instrument analytics with Engineering (events, properties, funnels); ensure data quality and dashboard freshness.

  • Synthesize learnings into playbooks and patterns; scale winners, deprecate losers, and roll insights into the backlog.

  • Conduct lightweight qualitative research (user calls, intercepts, session replays) to complement quantitative signals.

  • Collaborate with Marketing on traffic quality, ad-to-landing message match, and experiment routing.

Qualifications
  • 3–5 years in Product (PO/PM) with a growth/CRO focus; shipped and analyzed many experiments end-to-end.

  • Strong analytical skills: experiment design, funnel diagnostics, segmentation, cohort reads; comfort deciding from imperfect data.

  • Practical statistics: sample size/power, MDE, sequential testing risks, avoiding p-hacking.

  • Excellent written communication skills; crisp specs, hypotheses, and decision memos.

  • Bias to action, high ownership, comfortable doing manual work to move faster.

Nice to have
  • Experimentation platforms: GrowthBook, Optimizely, VWO, LaunchDarkly (feature flags), GA4 experiments.

  • Analytics: GA4, Mixpanel/Amplitude, basic SQL for ad-hoc queries; visualization (Tableau/Looker/Metabase).

  • Understanding of paid acquisition platforms and how traffic mixes impact CRO.

  • Familiarity with front-end stacks (e.g., Next.js/React, SwiftUI) to collaborate effectively and make smart trade-offs.

Location

Ruby Labs operates within the CET (Central European Time) zone. Applicants from any country are welcome to apply for the position as long as they are located within approximately ± 4 hours of CET. This ensures optimal collaboration and communication during working hours.
