As an Data & Analytics Compliance, Conduct & Operational Risk (AI) - Vice President within the D&A CCOR team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI risk management and compliance, ensuring our firm remains at the forefront of innovation and regulatory adherence. You will provide independent second-line coverage for compliance, conduct, and operational risk management oversight to the firm's central Data & Analytics Office's (CDAO AI initiatives. You will work collaboratively with various Line of Business, Corporate Function, and Regionally-aligned CCOR groups to ensure comprehensive AI governance and risk management across JPMorgan Chase.
In this role, you will report to the Head of AI, CCOR, and you are tasked with supporting CDAO's firmwide AI initiatives, core product development, and governance. Responsibilities include assisting in aligning policies, guidance, training, and testing for AI across the firm, addressing operational, compliance, and conduct risks. Additionally, you will help to implement new laws, regulations, policies, and industry frameworks (e.g., NIST) while providing essential compliance support for the CDAO.
Job Responsibilities

  • Develop AI risk management subject matter expertise and deliver such expertise in support of CCOR and the firm.
  • Assist in providing oversight and challenge of the CDAO AI function as it drives AI strategy, governance and enablement for the firm.
  • Assist with oversight and challenge of firmwide AI governance and risk management
  • Support the CDAO AI function's efforts to prepare for and engage in regulatory supervision, including the EU AI Act, and assist CCOR firmwide with other AI-focused regulatory supervision.
  • Support and challenge CDAO AI innovation and change management for its core products.
  • Assist CDAO AI management to address emerging risks, including among others: regulatory change developments, external geopolitical, and other market events giving rise to compliance and operational risks and other process errors also giving rise to such risks.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of compliance training and educational bulletins.
  • Drive focus on and supporting legal & regulatory change management efforts.
  • Drive risk management and conduct culture within the CDAO AI groups.
  • Oversee, advise on, and challenge issue remediations.
  • Provide core compliance oversight and support to CDAO regarding employee compliance and other risk management matters


Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience in AI and innovative technology risk management, governance or enablement.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with senior management.
  • Experience in risk management principles and techniques.
  • Client-facing experience with strong communication skills.
  • Analytical, issue-spotting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to manage multiple demands.
  • Commitment to diversity, inclusion, collaboration, and teamwork.


Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience with regulatory supervision related to AI.
  • Familiarity with industry frameworks such as NIST.
  • Experience in compliance training and educational initiatives.
