Among the European leaders in Risk and Wealth Management solutions, Prometeia is looking for a Data Analyst to join its Governance, Risk and Compliance team.

MAIN TASKS:

  • Developing new quantitative indicators in transaction analytics and analyzing the results;
  • Providing analytical support for managing client requests and quantitative feedback on clients’ analyses;
  • Supporting data analysis to improve internal transaction analytics solutions;
  • Providing quantitative support for monitoring new banking regulations (e.g. AML, Compliance, Model Monitoring, Credit Risk).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Master’s degree in Statistics, Physics, Mathematics or other STEM disciplines with excellent grades;
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL is required;
  • Up to 2 years of experience in data analysis, consulting or related fields;
  • Knowledge of Databricks, PySpark, MS Azure, and BI tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik) is nice to have;
  • Previous experience or knowledge of banking data is nice to have;
  • Fluency in English is required.

SOFT SKILLS:

  • Availability for work-related travels, both in a national and international context;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Aptitude for collaboration and team-working;
  • Curiosity, flexibility and problem-solving skills.
