Job Description
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Data Analyst, Central Services to support Flywire's business operations, reporting, and analytics functions by transforming complex data into actionable insights. This role will be responsible for analyzing business processes, building data-driven reports, and improving operational efficiencies across multiple teams. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about leveraging data to drive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for business improvement.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to support decision-making across Central Services teams.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and customer support, to provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Support the automation of reporting and data extraction, improving efficiency and accuracy in business processes.
  • Monitor key business metrics and provide insights to leadership on operational performance and areas for optimization.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and software developers to ensure data integrity, consistency, and scalability in reporting systems.
  • Assist in ad-hoc data analysis and research projects, supporting company-wide strategic initiatives.


Qualifications
What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for a data-driven problem solver with strong analytical skills and a passion for improving business processes.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in data analytics, business intelligence, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating datasets.
  • Experience working with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis and automation is a plus.
  • Experience with ETL processes, data modeling, and database management is a plus.
  • Strong ability to interpret data, draw meaningful conclusions, and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
