Customer Product Marketing Manager

Location: Hull or Scunthorpe (Hybrid)

Salary: £35,000 to £45,000

Type: Full-time, Permanent

Are you the kind of marketer who just gets it done?

You’re the one who steps up, figures it out, pulls it together and makes it happen - while others are still talking about the plan. You love variety, you’re great with people and your idea of a good day includes nailing an email that grabs attention, prepping a standout customer webinar and fine-tuning the behind-the-scenes magic that keeps campaigns running effortlessly.

If this sounds like your kind of energy, The HBP Group wants to meet you.

The Role in a Nutshell

We’re looking for a Customer Product Marketing Manager. Someone who can take our customer marketing and run with it.

This isn’t a role where you’ll be sitting back planning without action. It’s a sleeves-rolled-up, ready to dive in, “Sure, I can sort that!” kind of position. You’ll deliver perfectly written emails, organise seamless webinars and events, support internal teams with engaging content and keep our CRM data sparkling.

And you'll do all of this while working with people across the company, from sales and product managers to directors. If you’re an organised, creative problem-solver who lives to keep things moving, this is the one for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Writing and designing customer emails that people actually want to open. You’ll be responsible for open rates, clicks and conversions through to testing and reporting.
  • Manage the end-to-end execution of webinars and customer events. From invites and assets to follow-up and feedback.
  • Be our HubSpot Guru. You’ll manage the day-to-day of our HubSpot CRM, keeping data and processes organised, accurate and automated (training provided).
  • Creating graphics and campaign visuals in Canva and the Microsoft suite.
  • Be responsible for supporting our Customer Success and Delivery teams with the creation of brochures, email comms, reports and slide decks for meetings and presentations.
  • Coordinate the execution of customer campaigns alongside product managers, ensuring high-quality copy, imagery, and delivery across email, social media and internal platforms.

You’ll Smash This Role If You...

  • Deliver high-quality content and comms like it’s second nature and wouldn’t settle for anything less.
  • Nail the logistics of webinars, events and campaigns with minimal fuss.
  • Spot messy data or gaps in a process and fix them before anyone else even notices.
  • Build great working relationships across departments through clear, confident communication.
  • Take real pride in making things look polished, sound sharp and perform brilliantly.

We’re Looking for Someone Who Is...

  • A proactive do-er who rolls up their sleeves and just gets stuck in.
  • Organised, detail-driven and always on top of what’s next.
  • A confident communicator (both face-to-face and in writing).
  • Tech-savvy and ready to learn HubSpot inside-out.
  • Comfortable in PowerPoint and Canva, with bonus points for Adobe skills.

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • You’ll have ownership of your work and room to learn.
  • You’ll work on a variety of interesting projects with a supportive team.
  • You’ll see the impact of what you do, every single day.
  • You’ll join a company that values collaboration, initiative and people who get things done.

Anything Else You Should Know?

There’s a couple of essentials (and nice to haves!)

  • Comfortable supporting the complete event/webinar process, start to finish.
  • Understanding of campaign reporting, tracking and analytics.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
