The role involves managing overdue invoices, customer communication, compliance with credit policies, and reporting collections progress while assisting in daily administrative tasks.
The Credit Control Analyst - Bahasa Malaysia Speaker is to focus on the improvement of Working Capital KPI’s, like DSO, BPDSO and % current improvements to target and execute the Credit Policy to guarantee a high level of compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing overdue invoices & follow up
- Make Customer contacts to be reported and monitored in a Collection tool or similar tool in order to measure and align the activity plan with the business
- Contacting customers to clarify incoming payments details
- Performs collection activities on due invoices and dunning procedures
- Assisting in other day-to-day administrative tasks
- Active participation in the projects conducted by the firm
- Other specific activities determined for the assigned accounting area
- Provide regular updates on collections progress and outstanding debts to the senior credit controller
- Perform ad hoc business related activities determined by leadership
- Ensure adherence to company policies, legal regulations, and best practices in credit control
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year working experience in the accounting area of credit and collections, preferably with at experience in a Shared Service, Offshoring & Outsourcing Set Up
- Determination to respond to tight deadlines
- Naturally driven to work with confidence in a complex business environment
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail (including the necessary paperwork) and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Promptness and good communication with other departments
- Hands-on mentality with the ability to work independently
- Future-oriented, solution-oriented, proactive and out of the box thinking personality
- Language: Fluency in another foreign language (Bahasa Malaysia) to the extent required for the given position (at least B2)
- Inquisitive, pro-active and precise
- Good knowledge of MS Office Application especially Excel (reporting purposes)
