About Social Scout

Social Scout is the fastest-growing retention agency in the eCommerce industry, helping DTC brands generate more repeat purchases and increase customer lifetime value through email and SMS marketing.

We currently work with 150+ full-service retainer client accounts and are rapidly expanding into conversion rate optimization (CRO) and webpage design services.

We’re hiring a prolific, high-velocity Creative Strategist to lead our internal client acquisition pipeline. Managing over $110,000/month in internal Meta ad spend, your primary objective will be to conceptualize, script, launch, and scale high-converting B2B ad campaigns that convince eCommerce founders, CMOs, and heads of growth to hire Social Scout.

Our goal is simple: book more qualified calls, sign more clients, and accelerate our growth even further. We want to double, and eventually triple, our current ad spend as quickly as performance allows.

This role will initially focus heavily on scaling our core email and SMS marketing offer, while also helping us expand into new acquisition funnels for CRO and related services.

We’re looking for someone who can operate at high velocity, aiming for 60+ ad variations per week, while still thinking strategically about messaging, hooks, angles, creative formats, testing, and performance.

Compensation & Role Details

  • Highly competitive salary.

  • Full-time (40 hours per week) and fully remote.

  • You must be set up and hired as a contractor.

  • Fluent English required (written and spoken).

  • A minimum five hour overlap between 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST.

The Role

As a Creative Strategist, you will sit at the intersection of creative concepts, rapid content production, and ad account execution. You won't just be writing briefs, you will actively write scripts, direct existing video footage (studio recordings, founder clips, B-roll, client interviews), manage UGC creator relationships, collaborate with video editors, and directly launch campaigns inside Meta Ads Manager.

This is a high-volume, performance-first role built for someone who understands how to use creative as the primary targeting lever in B2B and performance marketing.

What You'll Be Doing
  • High-Velocity Scripting & Concepting: Develop 60 ad creative concepts/variations weekly using modular testing frameworks (swapping hooks, CTAs, angles, and visual formats) tailored for Meta.

  • Content & Production Management: Utilize our existing media library (founder studio footage, client interviews, B-roll) to brief video editors. Sourcing and managing relationships with external UGC creators and B2B actors as needed.

  • Meta Campaign Setup & Launch: Upload, set up, and launch ad creatives directly inside Meta Ads Manager, ensuring accurate naming conventions, headlines, primary text, and campaign setups.

  • Performance Analysis & Testing: Analyze front-end metrics (Hook Rate, Hold Rate, CTR, CPL) and down-funnel performance. Continually iterate on winning angles and eliminate underperforming creative assets.

  • Service Ecosystem Synergy: Work closely with our email marketing and upcoming CRO/webpage design teams to ensure ad messaging seamlessly connects with landing pages and backend nurture flows.

  • Platform Expansion Strategy: Lead initial efforts on Meta while laying the foundation to repurpose winning creative formats into future channels like LinkedIn and Google.

What You Bring
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Performance Creative Strategist focused heavily on Meta Ads.

  • Proven track record writing scripts and concepts for short-form video (Reels/UGC) and static graphics that drive direct-response conversions.

  • Experience in high-volume creative testing environments, capable of managing asset pipelines and briefing video editors efficiently.

  • Hands-on proficiency with Meta Ads Manager, including campaign creation, ad upload, ad copy execution, and metric tracking.

  • Strong understanding of creative analytics: You know how to read Hook Rates (3-second view rates), Hold Rates, and CTRs to diagnose why an ad is winning or losing.

  • Organized workflow management: Comfortable managing raw footage libraries, creator briefs, and editing queues without letting details slip through the cracks.

Who You Are
  • A natural storyteller who understands psychology: You know how to stop the scroll, address pain points, and communicate complex value propositions clearly and persuasively.

  • Data-driven and volume-minded: You understand that scaling on Meta requires constant creative iteration and rapid testing rather than relying on a single "perfect" ad.

  • Detail-obsessed: From ad copy formatting and UTM links to upload settings in Meta Ads Manager, you hold high standards for accuracy and quality assurance.

  • Proactive and execution-focused: You don't wait for footage to be delivered—you review existing raw assets, pull client interviews, write scripts, and push campaigns live efficiently.

Why Social Scout?
  • High-impact position: Own the flagship creative production process driving $110k+/month in Meta ad spend across a growing portfolio of 150+ clients.

  • Access to strong creative assets: Work with dedicated studio footage, head of growth recordings, client interviews, and in-house video editing support.

  • Career growth: Opportunity to shape and lead our expanding paid social department as we scale into new platforms (LinkedIn, Google) and offer cross-channel CRO services.

  • A fast-moving, supportive culture: Collaborative environment with proven marketers who celebrate wins and value performance-driven creativity.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
