The role: Contract Engineering Manager (.Net/PHP):
We are recruiting for a Contract Engineering Manager for a duration of initially 6 months. This role is an immediate start and it is fully remote.

Key Skills/Responsibilities:
- Looking for someone with a combination of great stakeholder management, communication, team & delivery leadership and .NET/PHP technical skills
- Matrix-managing 4 small .NET & PHP engineering teams (12 engineers total). No formal line management, but will manage their day to day activities, outputs etc.
- Ensuring good outputs from the 4 teams: technical quality, ways of working, unblocking issues, efficient delivery, etc.
- Helping these teams to integrate more fully with the wider tech org.
- No hands-on coding expected, but must be highly tech literate to guide engineers on approaches to their work.
- Driving AI-augmented development: familiar with Claude Code and/or Devin to support the teams with using these effectively.
