As the company continues its growth, we are looking for someone to join our UK Finance team to help the company and team prepare for scale. The Compliance Manager will report to the Director, Risk & Compliance and will be a key member of Ping’s controllership team. Candidates for this position should be ambitious, organized, and detail oriented.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain a compliance calendar and ensure timely completion of in country filings for audit, tax, annual returns, business surveys.
  • Develop a comprehensive programme of monitoring all relevant global, in country financial and statutory compliance obligations, including company secretarial collaboration with Legal.
  • Take a lead role in organising statutory financial audit tasks and PBC deliverables.
  • Provide key expertise to the team throughout the external audit of relevant financial and statutory compliance obligations , including tracking remediation recommendations and activities
  • Embed a risk approach in the Controllership Org and cross functional teams, particularly G&A.
  • Implement and review adoption of policies and procedures and SOX level controls into statutory reporting processes.
  • Contribute to quarterly risk assessments and reporting to the Enterprise Risk Committee.
  • Drive key partnership with Legal team to understand and monitor new regulatory requirements and legislation and, when applicable, ensure new requirements are incorporated into corporate processes with appropriate owners.
  • Maintain an independent mindset and effectively challenge where necessary to achieve a robust second line of defence.
  • Assist with information gathering for the company’s global insurance coverage and track insurance coverage that deviates from standard in customer contracts
  • Advocate risk and compliance and champion a positive compliance culture

Experience:

  • Experience in a compliance monitoring team or audit team
  • Track record of monitoring & maintaining risk and control environments.
  • Excellent collaborator with external regulators and strong relationships with internal teams.
  • Understanding of the global regulatory and legislative landscape.
  • Proactive self-starter, with the ability to take a lead on complex regulatory requirements.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skillsExperience with a suitable ERP accounting system (eg NetSuite)
