The AI orchestration of your wildest imagination.

n8n is the open AI workflow orchestration platform built for the new era of AI. We give technical teams the freedom of code with the speed of no-code, so they can automate faster, smarter, and without limits. Backed by a fiercely inventive community and 500+ builder-approved integrations, we’re changing the way people bring systems together and scale ideas for impact.

Since our founding in 2019, we’ve grown into a diverse team of over 160 - working across Europe and the US, connected by a shared builder spirit and with our centre of gravity in Berlin. Along the way, we’ve:

  • Cultivated a community of more than 650,000 active developers and builders

  • Earned 145k+ GitHub stars, making us one of the world’s Top 40 most popular projects

  • Been ranked as one of Europe’s most promising privately held SaaS startups (4th in Sifted’s 2025 B2B SaaS Rising 100)

  • Raised $240m to date, from Sequoia’s first German seed to our recent $180m Series C - bringing us to a $2.5bn valuation

  • And are grateful for our 94 eNPS score (most companies would call 70 excellent)

That’s the company we’ve built. Now we’d love to see what you can build. If you’re applying, try n8n out - whether you’re technical or not - and share a screenshot of your first workflow with us. The easiest place to start is here: app.n8n.cloud/register.

We’re in a defining moment of an incredible journey. Come and build with us.

Help us improve the quality and velocity of community contributions at n8n.

YOUR MISSION

🎯 Your main goal will be to support community-driven development by triaging GitHub issues, fixing bugs, and reviewing community pull requests and nodes.

You’ll work closely with our Nodes team to reduce the time they spend on support and maintenance, so they can focus on building new features. You’ll also help improve the developer experience for contributors and ensure submissions meet our quality standards.

🧩 Triage GitHub Issues
  • Triage new GitHub issues, investigate, and label them appropriately

  • Fix small and medium bugs, especially in community-reported nodes

  • Write clear comments and close the loop with contributors

🧰 Maintain Node Quality
  • Reproduce and fix bugs in nodes with external dependencies (e.g. APIs, SDKs)

  • Help reduce our backlog of unresolved issues

  • Prevent regressions by improving test coverage and flagging edge cases

🔄 Review and Support Community Contributions
  • Review community PRs and node submissions for quality and consistency

  • Suggest changes, request fixes, or merge when ready

  • Help with basic documentation updates or tests as needed

🔗 Improve Contribution Workflows
  • Identify ways to automate or streamline common community tasks

  • Ensure community contributors get timely feedback

  • Flag recurring issues and share feedback with the product and engineering teams

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
