Description

At Feeld, we are creating a world where everyone is more intimately connected to each other and themselves. We are building an inclusive, human-centred product and are looking for a Communications Manager to become part our remote team and our mission to elevate the human experience of sexuality and relationships.

You will be responsible for fostering a unified company culture, enhancing employee engagement, and ensuring consistent messaging across teams. Additionally, you’ll support the Communications team in cultivating external relationships with the media and securing high-quality press coverage that aligns with our brand values.

What you will do:

  • Build and implement an internal communications strategy to support Feeld's growing team and culture.
  • Develop and manage internal campaigns, organizational announcements, and employee updates to foster engagement and transparency.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and consistent messaging.
  • Provide media relations support by drafting press materials, pitching stories, and securing media coverage aligned with Feeld’s values and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Brand Communications Lead to manage both proactive and reactive media outreach.
  • Track and report on communications effectiveness, adjusting strategies as needed to meet organizational goals.
  • Translate complex messaging into simple and easy-to-understand content.
  • Develop responsive communications to address Member concerns or escalations from an internal representative, as needed.

Requirements
About you:
  • 8+ years of experience in communications, with a focus on both internal communications and media relations.
  • Proven ability to build and manage internal communications programs, including crafting messages, writing campaigns, and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong media relations experience with a demonstrated track record of securing press coverage across multiple channels.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with the ability to remain adaptable and proactive.

Bonus points:

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, strategic communications, or equivalent.
  • Good verbal presentation, group dynamic, and facilitation skills.
  • Proactive approach in resolving problems and issues.

Estimated compensation for this role:

  • The total cash compensation for this role is dependent on Level and Step, as well as geographic location, but we estimate that the competitive market compensation for this role is between £60,000 to £77,500 GBP based on the requirements listed in this job description.

Our interview process:

  • Your first conversation with Feeld will be a screening call with our recruiter, where you’ll be able to ask - and receive answers - regarding any general questions you have and to confirm the role is a fit for what you’re seeking.
  • Your second conversation will connect you directly with the hiring manager for the role you’re applying to. Here, you’ll have a chance to ask more questions about the work you’ll be doing. This conversation will also focus on your past work experiences.
  • The next step for most of our roles is a candidate challenge. This is an evaluation of the skills relevant to be successful in this role and generally takes about an hour to complete.
  • Your third conversation allows you the opportunity to meet the team members you might be working with on a daily basis. Here, you’ll be able to ask questions about team processes, workflow, and the employee experience at Feeld.
  • We generally make an offer within 2 weeks of our final call, and offer a flexible start date that can begin as early as the next Monday after you sign our offer documentation.
  • Of note: all of our interviews are conducted remotely, and our interviewers will work with you to find an agreeable interview time based on mutual availability.
