Why work at Nebius
Nebius is leading a new era in cloud computing to serve the global AI economy. We create the tools and resources our customers need to solve real-world challenges and transform industries, without massive infrastructure costs or the need to build large in-house AI/ML teams. Our employees work at the cutting edge of AI cloud infrastructure alongside some of the most experienced and innovative leaders and engineers in the field.
Where we work
Headquartered in Amsterdam and listed on Nasdaq, Nebius has a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, North America, and Israel. The team of over 800 employees includes more than 400 highly skilled engineers with deep expertise across hardware and software engineering, as well as an in-house AI R&D team.
The Communications Manager – AI Infrastructure will be responsible for designing and executing technical B2B communications strategies across AI/ML-focused media and channels. This is a technical B2B communications role (tech-to-tech) focused on developer, infrastructure, and enterprise audiences rather than consumer markets.
This position will play an important role in shaping the narrative around our technology, in particular our AI-native cloud platform. You will work closely with product and product marketing teams, engineers and executives in technical functions – as well as with industry partners and collaborators including NVIDIA – to lead storytelling initiatives to grow Nebius's profile in the AI/ML infrastructure ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and execute communications strategies across paid, earned, shared and owned channels targeting developer, infrastructure, and enterprise decision-maker audiences
• Build and own relationships across technical media including general tech outlets, infrastructure-focused publications, and AI/ML specialized media. Broad experience across mainstream tech journalism and more technical deep-dive content will be an advantage.
• Manage joint announcements, media collaborations and co-branded communications initiatives with partners and collaborators across the AI/ML ecosystem
• Draft high-quality materials for external and internal purposes (bylines, press releases, blog content, scripts, speaker notes, FAQs/Q&A documents, etc.) that resonates with developer, infrastructure, and enterprise decision-maker audiences including CTOs, engineering leaders, and technical practitioners
• Identify storytelling opportunities around product launches, customer use cases, technical benchmarks, open-source initiatives, partner collaborations, educational initiatives, own and third-party events (e.g., hackathons, product roadshows, conferences), etc.
• Monitor media trends and competitor coverage to identify emerging narratives and capitalize on opportunities in the AI infrastructure space.
Key Qualifications & Experience
Must-have requirements:
• Track record of securing earned media coverage in established technology media including general tech outlets, infrastructure-focused publications, and AI/ML specialized media
• Familiarity with AI infrastructure technology stack and how it differs from traditional cloud infrastructure, plus knowledge of key players across the AI infrastructure landscape including hardware vendors, cloud platforms, AI/ML frameworks, and developer tooling companies
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with a strong narrative sense, demonstrated through published technical content
• Proven ability to translate complex technical subject matter including distributed systems concepts into compelling, accessible stories and content initiatives tailored to technically literate and business audiences
• Demonstrated experience of working cross-functionally and engaging multiple internal stakeholders across technical and non-technical functions
• Experience using communications measurement tools and frameworks to assess impact and continually optimize strategy
Preferred qualifications:
• Background in journalism or editorial / content roles with a tech infrastructure focus OR experience of working at high-growth tech companies or organizations in the AI/ML infrastructure ecosystem
• Published written content on AI/ML infrastructure topics; experience of producing content across a variety of formats (e.g. podcasts, videos) is an advantage
• Familiarity with and affinity for open-source communities and contributor engagement
• Experience with developer relations or community engagement
Competencies & Behavioral Traits
• Strong editorial judgement and storytelling acumen for technical audiences
• Ability to operate autonomously and thrive in a fast-paced, globally distributed, high-context environment
• Ability to forge collaborative relationships and communicate confidently with technical stakeholders from different cultural backgrounds
• Comfortable with ambiguity, iteration, course-correction, experimentation and (occasionally) failure
• Self-directed, able to take ownership of initiatives and be accountable for delivering high-quality work
