We are looking for a Commercial Strategy & Planning lead to join our Revenue Operations team, working in close partnership with the Strategic Finance team.
Revenue Operations is a global team aligning processes, people, and analytics to drive sustainable business growth. We partner closely with commercial leadership, empowering them with insights and strategic guidance to achieve ambitious company objectives.

The Role
As a Commercial Strategy & Planning lead, you will play a critical role in shaping TravelPerk’s go-to-market (GTM) strategies by developing and managing our annual commercial operating plan. This role is highly impactful, blending technical excellence in modeling and analytics with deep commercial understanding, influencing strategic decision-making at the highest level.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys translating strategy into execution, thrives on solving complex business problems with data, and wants to work closely with senior GTM leaders. You will work as part of Revenue Operations, with a dotted line to Strategic Finance.


What You’ll Do

  • End-to-End GTM Operating Plan Ownership: Develop, manage, and continuously refine the annual go-to-market operating plan to align strategic top-down targets with bottom-up business realities.
  • Commercial Capacity Modeling: Build and manage sophisticated commercial capacity models, effectively translating strategic objectives into actionable sales and commercial targets.
  • Strategic Alignment and Stress Testing: Collaborate closely with senior leadership to stress-test and refine strategic goals, ensuring key business objectives are accurately captured and represented in the operating plan.
  • Operational Excellence: Own the ongoing evolution of the commercial plan, ensuring accurate, up-to-date records, clear communications, and timely insights to leadership.
  • Insight Generation: Derive and communicate strategic commercial insights from the planning process to inform and shape future business decisions and initiatives.
  • Initiative execution: Drive select strategic initiatives through to execution and evaluation, that result from the insights generated.

What will you need to succeed?

  • 5+ years experience in a similar analytical or commercial strategy role, preferably within a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.
  • Proven ability to develop complex business models and strategic plans with advanced proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets).
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data into actionable insights.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of SaaS unit economics, GTM motions (inbound/outbound/partnerships), and commercial levers (quota, ramp, attainment).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to effectively engage with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related fields is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Looker is a plus, but not a requirement.

For roles in Customer Care, this can be up to 5 days per week in the office. As such, this role requires you to be within commuting distance of our hubs.
