As a Commercial Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial strategy, data analytics, and expansion planning. This role combines business insights with data-driven decision-making to steer the company’s growth. You will analyse city and country-level performance, collaborate on actionable recommendations, and develop analytical models to identify optimal expansion opportunities for Welcome Pickups.

You will co-own commercial reporting, forecasting, and analytics while supporting the CCO in the Commercial Expansion Network strategy. This involves leveraging internal and external data to determine new market opportunities and advising stakeholders on priorities. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will collaborate with management to align data insights with broader commercial objectives, ensuring seamless coordination and execution across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Commercial Analytics: Lead reporting and analytics efforts to enable data-driven decisions. Analyze country- and city-level performance to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create actionable, system-oriented solutions using tools like Power BI, HubSpot, and Data Studio.
  • Expansion Analytics: Support with the Commercial Expansion Network strategy by analyzing internal performance data and third-party market intelligence. Build robust frameworks to assess market potential for new cities and countries. Provide actionable recommendations for expansion priorities based on revenue potential, operational feasibility, and strategic alignment. Develop and maintain a repository of expansion data to guide decision-making.
  • Project Management: Coordinate multiple commercial projects as requested, from modeling and planning to implementation. Ensure alignment with company goals and timely delivery of projects.
  • Sales Steering: Guide commercial teams toward optimal actions using data insights and progress reports. Identify blockers in commercial execution and escalate them to management with actionable solutions.
  • Forecasting & Planning: Develop commercial forecasting models in collaboration with the commercial analytics team and the CCO. Monitor performance against targets and provide recommendations for adjustments.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to prioritize business needs and translate them into actionable plans. Work directly with business unit leaders to configure and administer systems (e.g. Preset, Power BI). Collaborate with commercial and operations teams to support and guide them in taking action points derived from performance insights.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years in business intelligence, commercial analytics, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI, Data Studio, or Tableau. Familiarity with tools like HubSpot is a plus.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement forecasting models.
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret complex data and transform it into actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated success in managing projects from planning to execution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to explain complex concepts with clarity to diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience working across teams and geographies.
  • Capable of operating independently with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment with an ability to adjust to shifting priorities.
  • High level of accuracy and focus in all work outputs.
  • Familiarity with the travel and hospitality industry is a significant advantage.
  • Comfortable with digital tools, platforms, and technologies.
  • Friendly, proactive, and solution-oriented with a positive and upbeat approach.
