JOB PROFILE DESCRIPTION 

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE BUSINESS: 

As a Partner Operations Consultant in Kainos, you’ll be responsible for the day to day management of the administration associated with our strategic partnerships. 

Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Managing Partner Portal Administration - You will be responsible for Partner portal administration, co-ordinate partner renewals (Microsoft MPN / AWS APN), and maintain applicable contracts and Ts & Cs 

  • Managing programs and competencies. You will monitor, evaluate and co-ordinate attainment and renewal of competencies, advanced programs / specialisms and arrange audits for these where necessary 

  • You will actively monitor cloud consumption, ensuring Kainos is identified as the partner driving the consumption 

  • You will record training attainments and certifications and support the partner team in tracking targets 

  • You will keep up to date on partner funding, administer partner funding and maintain material for the education of Kainos staff on accessing and processing funding 

  • You will manage the resale of partner products to customers including invoicing 

  • You will work with the Partner Team and Business Development teams to place and maintain Partner marketplace offerings 

  • You will maintain partner sales lead management reflecting Kainos’ internal pipeline 

  • You will maintain awareness of Partner Marketing programmes and support the Kainos teams to access these 

  • You will support the Partner technology leads in their interaction with Microsoft technology teams and programs 

  • You will maintain up to date org charts  of Microsoft and AWS contacts 

  • You will support Marketing in the production and execution of communications to Partners 

  • You will assist in the administration where Kainos is subcontracting to a Partner 

MINIMUM (ESSENTIAL) REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Eagerness to understand Partner and Kainos processes and structures 

  • Have a broad understanding of Kainos and Partner technology propositions 

  • Ability to perform as an effective administrator 

  • Ability to understand commercial processes and prioritise activities that support positive commercial outcomes 

  • Ability to effectively communicate with Kainos and Partner stakeholders 

  • Ability to plan and meet deadlines in accordance with business requirements

DESIRABLE: 

  • Experience in working with partners, either through projects, marketing or IT 

  • Experience in working with Kainos systems 

  • Knowledge or experience in Dynamics CRM
