The ideal candidate will possess both a strategic account and sales background in technology solutions, primarily software based, that enables them to drive engagement with senior level decision makers within Cloudflare's target customers. Industry experience selling into various Enterprise verticals along with Service Provider is desired in this role
As a Client Executive, you'll be responsible for developing and executing against a Sales strategy/plan for major accounts, as well as driving large account sales into the German market to achieve revenue targets. Therefore, you must have a strong network of contacts with decision makers in the region, and have experience selling complex solutions and you will be instrumental in managing key client relationships, driving revenue growth and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to our clients. You will leverage your strategic thinking and deep industry knowledge to understand client needs and align them with our innovative solutions.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute account strategies to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within assigned global client portfolios
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and other key stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of client projects and address any challenges proactively
- Lead contract negotiations and manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing
- Provide insights and strategic recommendations to clients to enhance their business outcomes
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to position Cloudflare effectively
Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience:
- Deep knowledge and network in the Finance & Insurance industry
- 15+ years of experience in client management or sales within a B2B environment
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Direct experience selling network security and/or CDN solutions and services preferred
- Prior experience being part of an early sales team helping drive traction in Germany for a US-based SaaS company highly preferred
- Experience managing longer, complex sales cycles
- Aptitude for learning technical concepts/terms
- Strong interpersonal communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills
