Certification Program Specialist, Global Market Access

JOB DESCRIPTION
Your Mission:

• Lead and manage the compliance aspects of G-Mark, Oman, and Bahrain Certification programs.
• Ensure full alignment with GSO (GCC Standardization Organization), Oman DGSM, and Bahrain BTMD regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key authorities and stakeholders, representing the company professionally and proactively.
• Monitor regulatory updates and implement required changes in certification processes.
• Maintain excellence in documentation, reporting, and internal audits.
• Act as the subject matter expert and point of contact for internal and external queries related to the programs.

You Bring:

• Solid experience in Product Certification, Compliance, TIC (Testing, Inspection, Certification) services, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of G-Mark, Oman EE and Oman COC, and Bahrain EE regulations and conformity assessment schemes.
• Sound understanding of ISO/IEC 17065.
• Proven experience in leading scope expansion initiatives and managing regulatory projects.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and deliver on timelines.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple stakeholders, and drive initiatives forward.
• Proficiency in English (Arabic is a plus).

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Middle East Certification Scheme's requirements and procedures.
• Experienced in GSO, KSA, UAE, Oman, Bahrain Certification Schemes for Safety and Energy Efficiency.
• Deep knowledge of the TIC business and the industries in which the business functions.
• Understanding of scheme operation requirements and ability to connect those to business needs and customer preferences.
• Natural influencing skills, confident and be able to deliver the message.
• Ability to network and build relationship with internal and external stakeholders and lead/facilitate collaboration toward a common goal.
• Able to deal in the ambiguity and take decisions, support customer in understanding their problem and provide valid solutions based on their knowledge schemes and past experiences.
• Experienced and knowledgeable for a certain geographic area, specific areas of regulations.
• Excellent in communication, strong project management, able to summarize requirements and describe difficult concepts in a clear way, network builder.
• Bachelor's Degree Engineering, International Relations, or other specialization based on the specific coverage, preferred.
