Your Main Responsibilities Include:
- Act as the Program Owner, who is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Certification Office Quality Management Systems to show compliance with the requirements of the relevant CASCO standards (ISO/IEC 17000 series of standards) and the Cybersecurity regulations/schemes.
- Manage and implement projects of moderate and advanced complexity for the certification office, collaborating with business unit stakeholder groups to ensure certification operations processes and systems are effectively and efficiently put in place and managed.
- Provide leadership, insight, recommendations, and guidance to team members in support of the establishment and operation of the certification programs you lead.
- Attend regulatory and standardization committees related to the schemes.
- Interface with business unit stakeholders to ensure that certification programs meet customer and internal stakeholder needs and expectations.
- Implement metrics that monitor and demonstrate the success of certification schemes operations and improvement initiatives - ensure projects and benefits are tracked, captured, and correctly reported.
- Lead cross functional teams to continuously improve and drive quality and business into UL's services to internal and external customers.
- Lead cross functional teams to analyze new opportunities coming from new EU and global acts and achieve the necessary credentials as per business needs.
- Performs other duties as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the conformity assessment in the role of compliance manager in regulations/schemes related to cybersecurity, i.e. EU Cybersecurity Certification Scheme (EUCC, Previously SOG-IS) or RED.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in the testing, inspection and certification field in a TIC provider or in the industry.
- Deep understanding and knowledge of the Regulation (EU) 2024/2847 (also known as Cyber Resilience Act) and related requirements and conformity assessment procedures and notification processes and requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in building and achieving new certification office accreditations/notifications.
- Deep understanding of product certification scheme operations, requirements, and ability to connect those to business needs and customer preferences.
- Deep knowledge and experience of ISO/IEC 17065, ISO/IEC 17021-1 and ISO/IEC 17020.
- Deep knowledge of the TIC business and the industries in which the business functions.
- Natural influencing skills, confident and able to deliver the message.
- Ability to network and build relationship with internal and external stakeholders and lead/facilitate collaboration toward a common goal.
- Able to deal in the ambiguity and take decisions, support customers in understanding their problem and provide valid solutions based on their knowledge schemes and past experiences.
- Experienced and knowledgeable with EU regulations, directives and EU conformity assessment modules.
- Excellent in communication, able to summarize requirements and describe difficult concepts in a clear way, network builder.
- Fluent communication in English, both in speaking and writing.
- Certificate as lead auditor (40-hour course) is a plus.
