Job Description
As a Business Management & Strategy Executive Director on the Consumer & Community Bank (CCB) Corporate Development team, you will drive the strategic vision and operational excellence of the organization. You will oversee the development and execution of multi-year strategic plans, manage key business initiatives, and ensure the effective operation of the Corporate Development team. You will partner closely with senior executives across CCB, supporting the Head of Corporate Development and collaborating with business leaders to deliver on the firm's most critical priorities.
The Corporate Development team at JPMorgan Chase is responsible for strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and investments across the firm's consumer lines of business-including Consumer Bank, Business Bank, Wealth Management, Card Services, Connected Commerce, Home Lending, and Auto Lending. The Business Management & Strategy function is integral to enabling these transactions and partnerships, ensuring the organization is aligned, resourced, and positioned to execute on its core strategies in a rapidly evolving financial services ecosystem.
Job responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement multi-year strategic plans, business review agendas, and key strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall program objectives
  • Oversee day-to-day business management activities, including workforce planning, budgeting, real estate, staffing, reporting, and communications
  • Partner with the Head of Corporate Development to facilitate the development of the organization's strategic vision and drive execution of long-term strategies
  • Coordinate governance and tracking for business objectives and key results, providing regular updates and status reporting to senior stakeholders
  • Act as project manager for significant deliverables, ensuring timely completion and quality outcomes
  • Identify and escalate issues proactively, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to design and implement solutions
  • Manage key internal stakeholders and drive execution across the organization
  • Lead operational activities such as town halls, HR liaison, mentoring programs, and location changes, ensuring effective team alignment
  • Craft and deliver executive communications and presentations
  • Provide strategic direction and thought leadership to the Corporate Development team

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, with a strong background in business management, strategy, or corporate development
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large, complex programs and strategic initiatives
  • Proven ability to work with and influence a diverse set of stakeholders at the senior executive level, with strong conflict resolution skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively, developing strong partnerships with multiple levels of employees
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and produce successful results in a fast-paced environment
  • Executive presence and experience creating and delivering executive presentations in PowerPoint
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proven experience in working in a controlled/regulated environment

Our Consumer & Community Banking division serves our Chase customers through a range of financial services, including personal banking, credit cards, mortgages, auto financing, investment advice, small business loans and payment processing. We're proud to lead the U.S. in credit card sales and deposit growth and have the most-used digital solutions - all while ranking first in customer satisfaction.
The Strategy team manages mission-critical projects ranging from developing growth strategies, to assessing and planning entry into new markets, to implementing organizational restructurings and operational efficiencies, and more. Projects are typically team-based and include close collaboration with senior executives.
