Job Summary
The AI/ML Engineer 3 is an early-to-mid level individual contributor responsible for building and operationalizing machine learning solutions that support analytics and decisioning across the Quote-to-Cash lifecycle. This role focuses on developing models, feature pipelines, and repeatable ML workflows under defined problem statements and established architectural patterns.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
  • Working with moderate direction, the Engineer 3 partners with Business Intelligence, data engineering, and business stakeholders to translate well-scoped use cases into deployable ML assets. The role contributes to model training, evaluation, and deployment while adhering to governance, documentation, and reliability standards that enable trusted business adoption.
    This job independently drives data analytics and business intelligence efforts, crafting predictive models and strategic insights for informed decision-making. It operates with minimal guidance, ensuring data integrity and compliance. The role effectively communicates complex data findings to influence executive-level strategies.
    Model Development & Feature Engineering • Develops machine learning models aligned to defined use cases (e.g., classification, regression, forecasting, anomaly detection) under established standards and guidance.• Builds feature sets and feature pipelines using structured and semi-structured data sources, applying best practices in data preparation, encoding, and leakage prevention.• Supports experimentation workflows, including baseline modeling, evaluation, and iteration using agreed-upon success metrics.
    ML Pipeline Implementation & Integration• Implements repeatable model training workflows and integrates outputs into downstream consumer environments (dashboards, extracts, APIs, or reporting layers) in partnership with BI and platform teams. • Assists in building and maintaining batch scoring solutions and scheduled inference jobs using approved orchestration patterns.
    Data Validation & Quality Support• Performs routine validation of training and scoring data to detect anomalies, drift indicators, and input integrity issues. • Documents assumptions, feature definitions, and known limitations; escalates quality risks and partners on remediation.
    Testing, Documentation, and Reproducibility• Writes unit/integration tests for ML code and pipelines; supports reproducible workflows through version control and consistent environment practices.• Produces clear technical documentation for models, features, and inference behavior to support review and adoption.
    Cross-Functional Collaboration• Partners with BI and business stakeholders to confirm business intent, interpretability needs, and operational requirements for model outputs. • Collaborates with data engineering for source data access, pipeline dependencies, and scalable processing patterns.
