We are looking for a Senior Business Architect to lead the design of end-to-end business processes and future-state operating models for credit initiatives. The role owns process architecture from As-Is validation through To-Be design and is accountable for producing SI-ready artefacts that support downstream implementation.
The Business Architect acts as the design authority for process, decision logic, and operating model alignment, working independently with business and technology stakeholders.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own the end-to-end business process architecture for complex credit workflows.
- Review and validate existing As-Is process artefacts, including third-party documentation.
- Design the future-state (To-Be) operating model, including roles, responsibilities, decision points, and controls.
- Design high-quality BPMN 2.0 process models intended for implementation by a SI.
- Define workflow orchestration concepts suitable for enterprise BPM platforms, preferably Camunda or similar BPM engines.
- Make architectural decisions on process boundaries, orchestration scope, and dependencies.
- Run and lead discovery workshops with relevant stakeholders.
- Produce SI-ready design artefacts, including BPMN diagrams, process architecture views, and documented design rationale.
Essential
- Direct experience with credit processes.
- Experience Proven experience as a Business Architect, Process Architect, or Senior process-led Business Analyst on large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Strong hands-on experience designing end-to-end processes in regulated environments (banking, credit, financial services strongly preferred).
- Deep practical experience with BPMN 2.0 (not just conceptual modelling).
- Experience working with enterprise workflow / BPM platforms, preferably Camunda or similar BPM engines.
- Experience producing implementation-ready design artefacts for system integrator handover.
- Comfortable owning design decisions and acting as the design authority for process architecture.
- Exposure to Camunda-based architectures.
- Familiarity with regulatory, risk, and control considerations in financial services.
- Experience working alongside product, solution architecture, and data teams.
