At AlixPartners we solve the most complex and critical challenges by moving quickly from analysis to action when it really matters; creating value that has a lasting impact on companies, their people, and the communities they serve. By understanding, respecting, and honoring the needs of our employees, clients, and communities, AlixPartners actively promotes an inclusive environment. We strongly believe in the value that diversity brings to our experiences and are committed to the perpetual enhancements of initiatives, policies, and practices. We hold ourselves accountable by providing the space for authenticity, growth, and equity for everyone.

AlixPartners has embraced a hybrid work model to provide flexibility and support our employees’ work-life integration.  Our hybrid model combines a mix of in-person (at client site or AlixPartners office) and remote working.  Travel is part of this position, but the frequency may vary based on client, team, and individual circumstances.

What you’ll do

Please note, you will be aligned to our London base for the duration of the 15-24 month programme. Following the successful completion of the programme, you will then begin your consulting career in our Paris office.

The Business Intelligence Centre (BIC) drives the firm’s business development. You will start the programme with the team in our London office that works closely with our consulting staff to generate lead opportunities, manage opportunity pipelines, provide company and industry research, conduct business analysis, and provide proposal support.  As such, your work will be highly visible - and give you a window into the work we do and how we solve critical business challenges.

The programme serves as a springboard to consulting at AlixPartners. During the programme, you learn by doing. The Business Analyst Accelerated Consulting Program offers a dynamic learning environment designed to equip you with a core consulting skill base. The 15-24 month program provides exposure across AlixPartners’ industries and communities. The role involves supporting the firm’s business development initiatives, identifying potential opportunities and developing intellectual capital. Initially, you will support client-facing teams with industry research and company analysis.

Once you gain a firm foundation in the basics, your role progresses from supporting to being a member of one of our regional engagement teams deployed to solve our clients’ most critical issues. The program invests in developing your core consulting skillset (incl. digital languages) through formal training and on the job learning. Your business acumen and understanding are further built through industry rotations. The Business Analyst Accelerated Consulting Program offers a platform to kickstart your consulting career, with successful analysts making a transfer into our senior consulting teams.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
