We have established an effective Kainos brand strategy and unified visual identity that has supported our growth in recent years. We now need a Brand and Communications Manager to build upon this foundation to support continued growth across global markets. 

What You’ll Do 

As Brand and Communications Manager, you’ll be the strategic force behind how Kainos shows up in the world. You’ll: 

  • Ensure our brand strategy evolves in line with business growth, refining or developing new positioning and messaging as needed. 

  • Manage and protect our brand identity, empowering teams to use brand assets confidently and consistently. 

  • Tell the Kainos story in a compelling, authentic way—across every channel and audience. 

  • Lead core corporate communications and act as a trusted advisor on external messaging and brand positioning.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Identity & Governance 

  • Own and evolve the Kainos brand—from positioning and messaging to visual identity and tone of voice. 

  • Develop and champion processes that ensure brand consistency across all channels, regions, and customer touchpoints. 

  • Act as the brand guardian, guiding decisions on usage, tone, and creative direction. 

  • Equip marketers across the organisation with training, design templates, and creative support to bring the brand to life. 

Stakeholder Collaboration 

  • Work closely with internal teams—Sales, Product, People, Property—to embed the brand across the business. 

  • Partner with external agencies, designers, and media partners to deliver impactful brand initiatives. 

Innovation & Growth 

  • Identify opportunities to evolve the brand in response to market trends and customer needs. 

  • Support new product and service launches with brand-aligned messaging and creative assets. 

  • Refine brand positioning and messaging to align with Kainos’ growth strategy. 

Performance & Insight 

  • Monitor brand health and perception through research and insights. 

  • Track and report on key brand metrics—awareness, preference, engagement—to inform strategy. 

  • Own ROI reporting to demonstrate brand impact and drive continuous improvement. 

Corporate Communications 

  • Lead essential corporate communications, including managing press enquiries and media requests. 

  • Coordinate PR activities and external communications to amplify Kainos’ voice. 

  • Ensure consistent messaging across all corporate touchpoints. 

 

Minimum (essential) requirements 

  • Extensive experience in brand management, ideally within a B2B technology or professional/business services, with clear evidence of success in prior roles 

  • Experience in developing and implementing brand strategies and plans, including acting as brand guardian for an organisation 

  • Strong experience working with stakeholders at all levels including senior management 

  • Highly articulate and comfortable delivering presentations and speaking at events or conferences 

  • Ability to cultivate ideas, utilising creative writing while holding to branding and messaging direction and strategy 

 

Desirable:  

  • Professional qualifications in marketing and/or specialised area (e.g. CIM) 

  • Design skills or creative experience desirable
