Role Overview

The Warehouse Operative plays a key role in supporting NEP UK’s broadcast and live event operations by ensuring that all technical equipment, vehicles, and resources are prepared, maintained, and dispatched efficiently and safely.

This role requires a hands-on approach to equipment preparation, organisation, and logistics, ensuring seamless coordination between warehouse operations and technical readiness for outside broadcasts and production projects.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Preparation & Logistics

  • Prepare and test technical equipment and systems in line with load lists and operational requirements.
  • Perform pre-deployment checks to ensure kits are complete, clean, and operational
  • Load and unload broadcast vehicles, ensuring equipment is safely secured and logged
  • Assist in normalising returned OB trucks and flypacks, including equipment removal, testing, and restocking.

Warehouse Operations

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming equipment in designated warehouse and mezzanine areas.
  • Manage barcode scanning, asset registration, and stock control through the in-house system.
  • Prepare shipping documentation as required.
  • Support the coordination of deliveries, collections, and stock movements with external suppliers and internal teams.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Liaise closely with the Base Operations, Engineering, and Technical Maintenance teams.
  • Support colleagues in preparing and configuring OB facilities and related technical systems.
  • Participate in cross-departmental projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Basic IT literacy (Microsoft Office / Apple apps).

Where: Downmill Road, Bracknell

Hours of Work: You’ll work a Monday–Friday schedule on a shifts between 8am - 8pm with occasional weekend cover, you will be expected to work a maximum of one weekend in four.
