Work Flexibility: Hybrid

We are looking for an Associate Sourcing Manager in Warsaw to join our Global Sourcing Team. Reporting to the Director of Global Sourcing, you will be entrusted to manage a portfolio of suppliers that feeds our manufacturing sites in Germany and Switzerland. You will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of specific strategies and projects related to cost reduction initiatives, new product development, supply base and sourcing optimization, as well as rationalization, quality improvement, risk assessment, and contract negotiation.

What you will do:

  • Support development and implementation of strategies and goals for assigned commodities in support of overall divisional business objectives.

  • Support development and implementation of processes to build a best-in-class strategic sourcing organization.

  • Develop and lead cross functional teams and lead the process to create strategic commodity plans, consolidation strategy, and spend/supply assessments taking into account total product life cycle needs.

  • Participates in sourcing analysis and selection process and performs cost analyses and make versus buy analyses as required.

  • Participates in development of contract strategy. Negotiates, establishes, monitors and enforces supplier contracts and agreements.

  • Develop strong partnership relationships with key suppliers as well as other disciplines within the businesses.

  • Identify supply base risk and develop/implement mitigation plans.

  • Obtain and communicate market condition information and technology trends related to commodities and suppliers. Utilize market trends to identify and implement appropriate cost controls and business strategy changes.

  • Perform cost analyses and make versus buy analyses as required.

  • Responsible for assuring cost standards are established for annual operating budgets.

  • Collaborate across functions, divisions, and campuses to develop scorecards and business reviews for key suppliers. Organize and lead scorecard review meetings and business reviews.

What you need:

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree required.

  • 6+ years of experience in strategic sourcing and supplier development or equivalent required.

  • Experience with sourcing and supplier management in a Medical Device or a regulated industry

Preferred

  • Project or Program Management experience- highly preferred.

  • Direct sourcing experience- highly preferred.
