KBR is seeking a diligent Associate Procurement Analyst to support our National Security Solutions (NSS), Procurement Department. The Associate Procurement Analyst will be responsible for conducting analysis that will help streamline processes, monitor procurement activities and assist with critical proposal activities in accordance with company policies and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). They will rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions. 

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Conduct data analysis on market trends and key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize procurement activities
  • Gather information, prepare reports and present findings and recommendations
  • Coordinate with procurement team and maintain procurement status for various programs
  • Under general supervision, solves complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of field and industry best practices
  • Uses experience and problem-solving skills to develop and improve processes
  • May provide guidance to less experienced team members
  • Assist with proposal activities

Required Education & Experience:

  • This position requires US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status due to the sensitivity of customer related information
  • Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 2+ years of experience
  • Should have an understanding of FAR, DFARS and NAICS; commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within Government Prime Contractor purchasing
  • Must be organized, detail oriented and demonstrate strong time management skills and be able to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects with general supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage shifting priorities
  • Must be able to develop and maintain professional relationships with peers, suppliers, and customers, and contribute to a professional work environment by demonstrating integrity, teamwork, and a positive attitude
  • Working knowledge of MS Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Must have problem-solving skills to develop and improve processes

Work Environment: 

  • Location: Remote 
  • Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%  
  • Working Hours: Standard, full-time (40 hours per week)

 Basic Compensation: 

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s location, knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity. 

*For California only - The salary for this position ranges from approximately $71,800 to $100,700.

*For Colorado only - The salary for this position ranges from approximately $65,600 to $90,300.

*For Maryland only – The salary for this position ranges from approximately $71,800 to $100,700.

  

Additional Compensation: 

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
