The Role:
We are looking to hire a support and test engineer to support our international business. This will be an opportunity for an experienced engineer to come in to help support and test this business platform whilst gaining a deep understanding of this product domain. You will be responsible for providing tech support, production plant monitoring, helping with user queries, managing vendor platform integration and testing. You will work closely with users (traders, customers, counterparties) and product to understand requirements and rapidly iterate on your functionality.
The Team:
Clear Street’s mission is to become a single-source platform that serves a variety of investor types across multiple asset classes on a global scale. The Clear Street U.K. team is bringing Clear Street’s established equities, options, and fixed-income prime brokerage business to a new market.
Clear Street is building out its Securities Finance, Swaps, Equities and Futures Trading Platform from the ground up. Members of the team have the unique opportunity in the industry to build large scale, sophisticated trading systems on a modern and scalable technology stack from scratch.
You will be working with global team to support this business.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Application Support at Level 2 (L2) and Level 3 (L3).
- Strong knowledge of SQL and proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Shell, or Perl).
- Proven experience in incident management, issue analysis, and debugging complex production issues.
- Prior experience in the broker-dealer, prime brokerage, asset management, or investment banking domain is highly desirable.
