About the role:
The Application Support Analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing bespoke solutions using the Microsoft 365 platform, which includes Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Data Verse , Teams and more. Additionally, they will provide support and training to end-users as well as offer support and troubleshooting for any issues related to Microsoft 365 applications.
This role ensures that applications are kept up-to-date with product roadmaps and aligned with business requirements.
- Responsible for support and maintenance of relevant application product portfolio, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet customer needs.
- Supporting bespoke solutions within the product line to meet business requirements.
- Supporting the lifecycle of software applications, from deployment, ongoing support and decommissioning activities.
- Working with 3rd party vendors
- Ensuring applications are secure, reliable, and compliant with industry regulations.
- Provide technical support for solutions in M365 development technologies e.g. Power Platform, Power BI, Data Verse, addressing any issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Work closely with development and data team to implement minor modifications and enhancements to bespoke solutions.
- Provide technical support for solutions, addressing any issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Seeks opportunities to innovate and improve application development processes and technologies.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the applications delivered meet their needs.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor solution performance, identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal functionality and user satisfaction.
- Utilises performance metrics to improve system stability and monitor and report on capacity metrics.
- Liaise with software vendors and service providers as required for application lifecycle support.
- The role is responsible for the creation and maintenance of operational documentation (incl. processes, procedures, design & configuration, and operating manuals).
- Develop documentation for end-users and IS&D staff, ensuring applications are used effectively.
- Security and Compliance: Implement best practices in application security to protect company data and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Health and Safety Environment: Ensure that application development and management activities comply with health and safety standards and regulations.
