About the RoleWe're looking for an experienced ServiceNow Application Lead to own the strategy, development, and governance of our CMDB and CSDM module. You'll be the go-to subject matter expert within our ServiceNow platform team — shaping how configuration data is structured, integrated, and used across the business.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you'll work closely with business stakeholders, internal teams, and our external ServiceNow partner to drive platform maturity and deliver real business value.
What You'll Be Doing- Owning the CMDB/CSDM roadmap and ensuring it aligns with business goals
- Designing and maintaining the CMDB schema, data model, and governance framework
- Leading release management, including upgrades, testing, and change coordination
- Configuring Discovery, Service Mapping, and Integration Hub to keep CMDB data accurate and reliable
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into platform solutions
- Driving adoption of out-of-box capabilities and minimising unnecessary customisation
- Supporting onboarding of new teams and acquisitions into the platform
- 5+ years of ServiceNow experience with deep CMDB expertise
- Strong understanding of CSDM principles and best practices
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Discovery
- Solid grasp of ITIL and configuration management frameworks
- A clear communicator who can bridge the gap between technical and business audiences
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Experience with ITOM, SAM, or HAM modules
- CSDM certification or formal training
