What will you be bringing to the team?
- Lead the design and evolution of scalable, secure and high-performing Java-based enterprise architectures across cloud and hybrid environments
- Define Microservices, Event-Driven and API-based architectures using modern frameworks such as Spring Boot, Quarkus, and Java EE
- Evaluate and recommend technologies, architectural patterns, and tools aligned with project and enterprise goals
- Establish coding and architectural best practices across teams, including design patterns, clean architecture, and DevSecOps integration
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, BAs, PMs, and Business stakeholders to align technical roadmaps with strategic objectives
- Drive the implementation of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure/ AWS, GitHub Actions, etc.) and promote infrastructure as code and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development teams, enabling architectural agility and knowledge transfer
- Ensure system reliability, performance tuning, and security compliance across distributed systems
- Produce and maintain architecture deliverables, including solution blueprints, integration maps, and technical documentation
What do you need to succeed in this position?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of professional Java development experience, of which minimum 3 years in a hands-on architectural role
- Proven expertise in Spring, Quarkus, Java EE, and Hibernate/JPA
- Extensive experience designing cloud-native and Microservice architectures on Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Familiarity with event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), API gateways, and service mesh architectures
- Strong experience with CI/CD, containerization, DevOps toolchains, and performance monitoring
- Working knowledge of Front-end frameworks (Angular, React) is a plus
- TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification is highly desirable
- Strong stakeholder communication and technical documentation skills
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
