About the team
The UK Marketing team is part of the EMEA Country Marketing function, which sits within the wider EMEA Marketing organisation. We collaborate closely with the wider central marketing teams including Global Creative, EMEA Client Marketing, EMEA Brand, Research and Campaigns, Global Events, EMEA Product Marketing, and EMEA Strategic Partnership Marketing to deliver high-impact campaigns, events, and strategic initiatives across the region.
The UK team itself is structured into three specialist groups:
- Institutional marketing
- Investment Trusts marketing
- Wealth marketing
This role sits within the UK Institutional Marketing group, which focuses on delivering client-centric marketing strategies across a broad spectrum of institutional segments, including defined benefit (DB) and defined contribution (DC) pension schemes, insurance companies, investment consultants, DC platforms, corporate pensions, Local Government Pension Schemes (LGPS), Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) clients, Financial Institutions Group (FIG) clients, and independent trustees. The team is based in London and works across a wide range of product categories, client segments, and distribution channels to drive adoption of BlackRock’s investment solutions.
About this role
As a Marketing Analyst you will work closely with the Head of Institutional Marketing to support the execution of high-impact campaigns and events that align with our UK and global strategic priorities. This role has a strong focus on event management, including the planning and delivery of flagship conferences and sponsored industry events. You will also contribute to cross-channel marketing efforts spanning owned, earned, and paid media, helping to amplify our brand and product narratives across digital and offline platforms.
Collaboration is key: you’ll partner with stakeholders across sales, product, corporate communications, and broader marketing teams to ensure cohesive and client-centric execution. You’ll also support broader UK-wide initiatives such as campaign reporting, content development, and client communications, helping to maintain BlackRock’s leadership position in the institutional market.
Key responsibilities
Event management
- Lead the execution of proprietary and sponsored events, ensuring strong brand presence and strategic alignment.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver seamless experiences that drive engagement and commercial outcomes.
- Extend the impact of events by building narratives and content that live beyond the day.
- Own post-event and campaign reporting, capturing insights to inform future strategy.
Digital and website ownership
- Manage the UK institutional website, ensuring content is compliant, current, and optimised for client journeys.
- Build and localise campaign landing pages, scaling global initiatives for UK implementation.
- Drive digital engagement through intuitive navigation and strategic content placement.
- Ensure digital content supports strategic messaging and measurable business outcomes.
Campaign support across channels
- Build brand awareness and client consideration across priority institutional segments.
- Deliver integrated campaigns across owned (website, events, email), earned (PR, media), and paid (digital, social) channels in collaboration with sales, product, comms, and marketing teams.
- Support end-to-end campaign execution, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and client needs.
- Apply a test-and-learn mindset to optimise performance and ROI.
- Leverage data to sharpen targeting, messaging, and channel mix.
Social media activation
- Support the development and rollout of social media campaigns that build awareness and engagement.
- Use performance data to refine targeting and improve ROI.
Experience
We’re looking for someone who is:
- A collaborative team player with strong networking and stakeholder management skills.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple projects independently.
- Appetite for a fast-paced environment where adaptability and problem-solving mindset is key.
- A confident communicator with strong analytical and conceptual skills.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in marketing, ideally within financial services.
- Proven track record across digital channels, campaigns, and events.
- Experience liaising with senior stakeholders and managing external partners.

Our hybrid work model
BlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all.
