The Team:

The Global Marketing & Digital Wealth organization at BlackRock is a forward-looking, globally connected team at the center of the firm’s most high-impact priorities. The role sits within the EMEA client marketing team and focuses on client marketing campaigns across the region. As a central function, the team partners closely with various business units to translate regional and country priorities into scaled, data-driven marketing campaigns that build brand and product awareness, consideration and leads across priority professional client segments.

Role and Impact:

Accelerating BlackRock growth in EMEA through scalable, high impact client marketing campaigns that support asset gathering and long term franchise strength.

Enhancing consistency and efficiency by centralising campaign strategy, reducing fragmentation across markets, and maximising return on marketing investment.

Embedding a data led culture in marketing decision making, aligning activity with client needs, behaviours, and measurable business outcomes.

Reinforcing BlackRock’s leadership position by ensuring clear, compelling, and consistent positioning across all EMEA markets.

Responsibilities:

• Campaign creation: Support the end-to-end process of developing and executing multi-touch client marketing campaigns, including the creation of all associated assets such as emails, webpages, visuals, and multimedia components to increase engagement with key product segments and to deliver timely market insights and messaging to clients.

• Client experience management: Oversee the client journey, ensuring a cohesive and impactful messaging strategy that aligns with client expectations and business goals, in close partnership with key stakeholders.

• Regulatory compliance: Ensure all marketing activities comply with industry and firm regulations and standards.

• Data-driven mindset: Leverage data insights for continuous testing and optimization of campaigns, aiming to surpass benchmarks and elevate marketing effectiveness. Use segmentation models to identify interested audiences and develop campaign messaging to drive from awareness through to conversion for key product segments.

• Reporting and measurement: Measure campaign performance and content effectiveness to drive engagement and enhance future campaigns, delivering insights to sales and marketing partners.

• Relationships: Build and maintain strong working relationships with the local market country marketing managers (CMMs) and ensure central marketing initiatives are aligned with local objectives and emerging opportunities. Work in lockstep with both the brand campaigns and product marketing teams which also sit within the EMEA central marketing unit. Build a network of contacts across different product/service specialists within EMEA.

Core Skills:

• Relationships-driven with the ability to build strong relationships quickly.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with extremely good attention to detail.

• Strong commercial acumen is an advantage

• Dynamic with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes

• Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, capable of driving forward key initiatives and managing workflow on multiple projects concurrently

• Creative, ideas-driven and self-motivated.

• Able to work independently, yet a team player.

• Ability to work effectively in an international team environment within a complex matrix organisation.

Qualifications:

• Ideally +2 years client or product marketing experience, in the asset management industry or similar.

• Experience of channel marketing (with focus on owned channels)

• Understanding of client journeys across the marketing mix

• Ideally experience scaling campaigns across multiple languages/countries

• Knowledge of the investment/financial sector is beneficial

Our hybrid work model

BlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all.
