Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Affiliate & Partnerships Manager to join our rapidly growing Owned Sites team. This role is also known as an Affiliate Manager or Performance Manager in other companies.

The Owned Sites team acts like a startup within Wise. We are part of the marketing team, focused on acquiring new customers and driving revenue through a portfolio of websites. 

As an Affiliate & Partnerships Manager, you'll be at the heart of our commercial operations, with a direct impact on revenue and business growth. You'll be responsible for managing and optimizing our affiliate partnerships, fixed-term agreements and broader sponsorship opportunities.

A great example of this is Expatica.com which is one of our owned channels. We connect them with our partners, giving them the best options. If a partner is the perfect fit, we help the user find them and earn a commission in the process. Your goal is to maximise the value from all our existing partnerships by ensuring we are connecting our expat audience with the most relevant and beneficial services.

Your mission

  • Manage affiliate partnerships and media sales: You will be responsible for running and optimizing revenue from our existing partners.

  • Generate new business: Identify and onboard new partners and opportunities to grow our commercial portfolio.

  • Optimize revenue: Continuously analyze on-site performance metrics like EPV (Earnings Per Visitor), EPC (Earnings Per Click), CPA (Cost Per Acquisition), and CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) to maximise partner revenue.

  • Run Google Ad Manager: Take full ownership of our ad serving platform.

  • Handle commercial negotiations: Improve our commercial terms and close deals for tenancies, sponsored content, and media packs.

  • Track and reconcile revenue: Accurately track performance and manage revenue reconciliation with our partners.

  • Lead projects and events: Organize and run events, both online and in-person, and drive key commercial projects.

  • Create dashboards and reports: Build and maintain dashboards to monitor link tracking and overall performance.

About you

  • You have a strong background in affiliate marketing or a similar performance-based role with 2-3 years experience. 

  • You are comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and can adapt quickly to changing priorities.

  • You are a proactive self-starter who can independently generate new business and improve existing partnerships.

  • You have excellent analytical skills and are comfortable using data to make decisions.

  • You are an exceptional communicator and negotiator, able to build and maintain strong professional relationships.

  • You are highly organized with great attention to detail, especially when it comes to tracking and reconciliation.

  • You have experience using Google Ad Manager or a similar ad serving platform.
