Back in January 2020, The Marketing Store were thrilled to be appointed as Priority from O2's partnership agency of choice. Priority is the jewel in Virgin Media O2's impressive crown, the centre of their commitment to become truly customer centric. And as the telecoms sector continues to evolve, Priority will be one of - if not the - key strategic focus for the business.
To continue to develop and strengthen our relationship between O2 and tms, we're looking for an Account Executive to join our team.
This role is responsible for supporting the team in delivering the execution of BAU and Priority campaign activity. You'll support the tms account team and key O2 collaborators day-to-day ensuring we always deliver the best Rewards within Priority. This is an opportunity to be part of the most enviable partnerships accounts in the world.
We will be an important strategic player for O2 - setting the Priority vision for the next two years solving O2's and partners' genuine business challenges; providing innovative thinking. WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE AGENCY
Client & Team Partnership

  • Display a passion for Priority and a willingness to deliver excellence in Priority activations part of a wider team
  • Support the day-to-day delivery of partnerships activations within Priority working in conjunction with Account Management and Partnerships collaborators
  • Work closely & collaboratively within the Account Management Team as well as build relationships with colleagues throughout the Agency and in different departments (Strategy and Creative)


Account Management

  • Demonstrate a collaborative approach - working effectively across different departments
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to multitask, juggling priorities and managing time effectively
  • Proactively & independently support your line manager and wider team
  • Collaborate with Account Executive / Account Manager / Account Director and Senior Account Director to manage partners day-to-day requirements from start to finish
  • Proactively provide timely project status information and contact reports for line manager and the wider team
  • Demonstrate an appetite to broaden experience outside of the assigned day-to-day working with peers to deliver competitor reports and other areas of activity / management
  • Excellent attention to detail always


People Management

  • Be a great teammate, working in partnerships with all cross-functional teams and ensuring upwards management to your Account Management colleagues making sure all necessary colleagues are kept regularly informed where relevant and any key decisions are made as a team


The all-important numbers bit

  • Show an aptitude for understanding and assisting the Account Management team in their day-to-day management of projects costs, estimates and budget tracking
  • Assisting the team to raise the required PO's and Invoices to keep on track with the agreed Project Billing Schedules


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE

  • Demonstratable experience gained from either a marketing, creative or digital agency
  • Enthusiasm for marketing and willingness to get involved with all project areas
  • Strong IT skills (MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)


And we'd love you to

  • Have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Have excellent writing skills
  • Have a desire to learn great presentation skills (writing and delivering)
  • Be able to express thinking / ideas with clarity, confidence and logical reasoning
  • Be proactive at coming up with and contributing to creative ideas
  • Possess good financial foresight
  • Appreciate great creative work
  • Work well under pressure


Any of the following would be a plus

  • An understanding of partnership marketing or promotional marketing would be ideal
  • Some experience of working with a creative department and knowledge of the creative design & artwork process would be ideal
  • An understanding of the telecoms industry
  • Marketing qualifications (e.g. ISP, IDM, CIM, IPM) desirable
