Grant Thornton's Tax team works across the entire spectrum of tax services, providing innovative and practical solutions to clients operating locally and globally. Our professionals combine technical expertise with commercial insight to help clients manage tax risk, remain compliant and achieve their strategic objectives.
Our Tax team supports organisations of all sizes across a wide range of industries including technology, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, aviation, real estate and the public sector.
Our team advises clients across several specialist areas, including:
- Corporate Tax
- Financial Services
- International Tax
- VAT & Indirect Tax
- Private Client & Wealth Management
- Employer Solutions and Payroll
This breadth of expertise provides graduates with exposure to a diverse range of tax matters, industries and client challenges.
As a Tax Graduate, you'll gain hands-on experience from day one, working with a diverse portfolio of clients and developing solutions to complex tax challenges. You'll have the opportunity to build strong technical knowledge while understanding the wider business and commercial considerations that influence client decision-making.
Whether advising on corporate tax matters, supporting international businesses or helping individuals plan for the future, you'll contribute to projects that have a real impact on our clients.
What You Will Do
As a Graduate Trainee within Tax, you'll work closely with experienced professionals on a variety of client engagements.
You may have the opportunity to:
- Support clients with tax compliance and reporting obligations.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and related filings.
- Research tax legislation and analyse technical tax matters.
- Support advisory projects across a range of tax disciplines.
- Work with multinational organisations on international tax matters.
- Assist with transaction and restructuring-related tax projects.
- Participate in client meetings and technical discussions.
- Analyse financial information and identify tax implications.
- Prepare reports, presentations and client deliverables.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Tax, Audit and Advisory teams.
