Senior Fullstack Engineer responsible for evolving web platforms across MarineTraffic and Kpler Terminal. The role includes migrating applications to a shared Vue and React design system, building BFF layers and microservices, improving monorepo tooling and CI, integrating AI-assisted development tools, and applying resilient architectural patterns. The engineer will mentor teams, establish technical standards, and support platform capabilities used by approximately 20 feature teams.

Build and scale end-to-end web features for Kpler’s flagship products, spanning Vue or React frontend applications, Node.js backend services, and Backend-for-Frontend layers. Maintain shared component architecture and design systems, support micro-frontend platforms, improve developer tooling and CI pipelines, and collaborate on architecture, code reviews, and technical pairing. Use AI-assisted development tools while delivering performant experiences for global users.

Build and scale PHP backend services, including billing and subscription systems, while developing responsive React and TypeScript interfaces. Maintain SQL databases, REST APIs, automated end-to-end tests, observability, logging, and CI/CD workflows. Collaborate with Product, Finance, CRM, Revenue Operations, and Support teams to deliver technical solutions, troubleshoot production issues, modernize legacy systems, and improve reliability and code quality.

Adjudicate automated vessel detections humans cant resolve: identify dark/spoofed/low-confidence contacts, investigate AIS/GNSS manipulation and ownership, produce sourced identification records, and supply labeled ground truth to improve detection models.

Investigate and improve the quality of chartering datasets covering vessels, ownership, fixtures, cargo orders, positions, and shipping zones. Use SQL and Python to analyze large datasets, identify inconsistencies, develop validation checks, and investigate root causes. Review AI-parsed fixture data, maintain geographic mappings in QGIS, establish data-quality metrics, and collaborate with Product, Data, Research, Engineering, and AI/ML teams to drive systematic improvements.

The Market Data Analyst will oversee data quality and operations for metals and minerals, monitor market trends, support clients, and improve data workflows using SQL and Python.

The Senior Fullstack Engineer will lead mobile feature development for the MarineTraffic and Kpler applications using Flutter and Node.js, ensuring high performance and adherence to Clean Architecture. Responsibilities include code reviews, mentoring, and improving backend services, while leveraging AI tools for enhanced software delivery.
