The Senior Product Manager will define and manage the product vision for Infrastructure Observability, collaborate with engineering teams, and drive customer-focused product initiatives while guiding the go-to-market strategies.

Build and operate control-plane services that manage Grafana Cloud stacks at scale. Design reconciliation systems, manage rollouts, support region/cluster launches, improve incident response, collaborate cross-team, and own production behavior, runbooks, dashboards, and recovery procedures for stack lifecycle and configuration.

Own and deliver regional in-person conferences and third-party sponsorships across EMEA and APJ. Responsibilities include venue sourcing and contracting, budget management, vendor coordination, registration, booth setup, on-site leadership, stakeholder alignment, asset approval, performance analysis, and post-event optimization. The role also uses AI and automation to improve planning, reporting, and execution, resolves issues independently, and guides junior staff, contractors, and agencies.

Leads Western Europe regional marketing programs from strategy and budgeting through execution, reporting, and retrospectives. Manages ABM, events, stakeholders, vendors, timelines, and performance goals in partnership with Sales and SDR teams. Uses Splash, Zuddl, Salesforce, Monday.com, AI, and automation to improve marketing efficiency and scalability. Independently manages risks and priorities, translates performance data into recommendations, documents repeatable workflows, and guides junior team members and contractors.

Partner with Product, Design, Engineering, and Data to define KPIs and measurement for AI-powered features, guide instrumentation, design and evaluate experiments, build dbt models, create dashboards, and translate analytics into product recommendations to shape AI product strategy.

Lead technical direction and deliver large-scale authentication systems (OAuth/OIDC/SAML/LDAP/SCIM) in Go. Drive cross-team architecture, mentor senior engineers, ensure low-latency multi-tenant reliability, and represent Grafana in the identity community.

Embed with product engineering squads to own production reliability for Grafana Cloud databases (Mimir, Loki, Tempo, Pyroscope). Design and implement SLOs, automation, and fault-tolerant patterns; lead incident response and post-incident reviews; improve observability, alerting, and scalability for high-SLA multi-tenant environments; mentor engineers and influence product design for operability.

Lead end-to-end projects for Pyroscope: design, build, and operate ingestion, storage, and query for a distributed profiling database. Drive product decisions, participate in customer calls, own on-call rotations, improve operational excellence and cost, collaborate across Grafana teams, and contribute to the open-source Pyroscope project.

Build and operate backend services for an AI-native context layer: ingestion, indexing, retrieval APIs, multi-tenant SaaS architecture, agent integrations, observability instrumentation, and production-grade reliability. Collaborate across product and infrastructure, iterate quickly, and shape technical direction.

Design, build, operate, and maintain multi-tenant telemetry databases (metrics, logs, traces) for Grafana Cloud. Deliver features end-to-end, participate in on-call rotations, contribute to open-source projects, collaborate remotely, and improve reliability, performance, and scalability of distributed systems running on Kubernetes and major cloud providers.

Partner with Sales as a technical product expert to demo, evaluate, and design observability solutions using Grafana Cloud. Own technical engagements, articulate value, close complex pre-sales opportunities, collect product feedback, and create enablement content (docs, blogs, videos) to drive customer success and product improvements.

Build and operate Grafana Labs' bare-metal platform: provision storage, networking, and Kubernetes clusters; manage cluster networking, scheduling, autoscaling; maintain Crossplane compositions and Terraform modules; collaborate with application teams and participate in on-call rotation to ensure reliable, scalable platform operations.

Build and ship AI-powered, production-grade features enabling analytics and agentic workflows across large datasets. Rapidly prototype, iterate, and dogfood solutions; integrate agent components with internal tools; collaborate cross-functionally while owning scalable, maintainable AI-driven product capabilities.

Design, build and operate Grafana Labs' bare-metal to Kubernetes platform: provision storage, networking and clusters; manage cluster networking, scheduling and autoscaling; maintain Crossplane compositions and Terraform modules; support users and run on-call duties to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of platform infrastructure.

Lead architecture and multi-quarter initiatives for Tempo, Grafana's distributed tracing backend. Own ingestion, storage, query, APIs, and operational SLOs; mentor engineers, participate in on-call, collaborate with product and sibling teams, and contribute to the open-source project to improve performance, scalability, and AI/agent-friendly interfaces.

Design, build, operate, and maintain scalable alerting backend systems. Drive features end-to-end, contribute to open-source, participate in on-call rotations, mentor teammates, and collaborate remotely to improve reliability, performance, and alert evaluation at scale.
