Instil, a software engineering and cybersecurity consultancy, announced a £6 million investment to support its growth plans. A £600,000 contribution from Invest NI will enable creation of 100 new jobs in an effort to triple Instil’s turnover by the end of 2028. The Belfast-based firm is committed to growing the digital sector by providing product development services to U.S. and U.K. clients.

The firm will offer roles to IT professionals and graduates, and it is currently hiring for senior software engineers, tech managers and commercial sales executives. Instil will also relocate its office to a larger Belfast location to accommodate the growing team. Invest NI is supplying Instil with an additional £120,000 toward its new facility.

“Today’s announcement will ensure that Instil is best placed to grow its turnover and reach new markets,” Richard Christie, director of technology and services at Invest NI, said in a statement. “Ultimately, this investment will provide the company with the team, skills and premises needed to scale rapidly.”
