Overview

Braze is a leading customer engagement platform, powering relevant and memorable experiences between brands and their customers. We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst III to join our Business Systems team, with a specialized focus on owning, managing and enhancing our Partnerships technology stack. The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner for the business and operations stakeholders, bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions to drive efficiency and effectiveness across our Partnerships business functions and operations.

You will play a pivotal role in optimizing our Partnerships systems, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, to deliver impactful solutions that support our growth initiatives.

What You'll Do
  • Lead Project Lifecycle: Drive the entire project lifecycle for key initiatives within the  technology ecosystem.
  • Requirements Elicitation & Translation: Act as the primary liaison between Partnerships and other business functions to convert business cases into functional requirements and user stories.
  • Product Ownership: Own, manage, enhance and integrate key Partnerships tools, e.g. Salesforce Experience Cloud (PRM and Partner Portal), Crossbeam, Tray.ai etc. 
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the SME for the Partnerships technology stack - providing best practice guidance, drive technology roadmap, training and support to end-users to maximize system adoption and value.
  • Application Design & Maintenance: Design, configure, and maintain critical Partnerships applications, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and business goals alignment.
  • Process Analysis & Optimization: Conduct proactive in-depth analysis of Partnerships processes and data to identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and improved data quality, utilizing state of the art AI-driven solutions.
  • Solution Collaboration & Deployment: Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and deploy custom solutions, integrations, and reports, providing actionable insights to Partnerships teams.
  • Test Plan Development & Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive UAT / test plans to ensure the integrity and quality of new features and integrations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in Partnerships technology, continuously seeking ways for AI-driven innovation and improve the existing technology stack.
Who You Are
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, with at least 2 years in a senior capacity, specifically supporting Partnerships teams.
  • Proven expertise and experience in owning, administering, integrating, and optimizing enterprise business applications such as Salesforce Experience Cloud (PRM and Partner Portal), Crossbeam, Tray.ai, etc.
  • Deep understanding of end to end Partnerships business processes, including: partner lead creation, partner lead to qualified lead conversion, partner sourced/influenced opportunities, partner onboarding and tier progression requirements, and partner-led onboarding.
  • Proven experience in delivering business value via AI-driven automation initiatives for Sales/Partnerships business functions. 
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical business audience, and business concepts to a technical audience.
  • A proactive, data-driven and results-oriented mindset, with a demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple projects and deliver on deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an unwavering attention to detail.
  • Experience with project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) as well as project management tools, e.g. Jira.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve break-fix issues within various platforms such as Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Crossbeam, and Tray.ai.
  • Experience in creating clear, yet concise documentation and enablement materials (BRD, FRD, etc) that are consumed by a variety of stakeholders from individual contributors to department leads.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
Bonus Points If You Have
  • Certifications in Business Systems Analysis (e.g. IIBA), and/or Agile Product Owner. 
  • Certifications in key Partnerships technologies, e.g. Salesforce Experience Cloud (PRM and Partner Portal), Crossbeam, etc.
  • Foundational understanding of scripting in Javascript / Python.
  • Familiarity with data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation in platforms like Looker or Tableau.
