About the Role:

We are looking for a customer-centric and data-driven Senior Regional Marketing Manager with a focus on Africa and South Asian audiences. You will also support additional learning and retention initiatives in your assigned regions with the goal of supporting desired business outcomes. This role is based in our London office and will be hybrid (2-3 days a week in the office).

You Will:

  • Develop localised marketing strategies that drive acquisition and learnings for key audiences such as money senders to Africa and South Asia, specifically Pakistan. This includes owning and managing the process for developing audience-based go-to-market strategies, including taking a holistic view of the customer and competitive journeys, determining the levels of localization, and tailoring customer offers to best convert customers.
  • You will be embedded as a regional marketing lead in cross-functional squads for assigned regions and serve as the primary point of contact for the global Marketing team. As part of this, you will ensure that regional marketing priorities are baked into the quarterly and yearly marketing plans.
  • Enable the broader marketing team with tools that help the teams deliver localized content and offers, such as customer journey mapping, corridor battlecards, and localization guides.
  • Represent the Regional Marketing team holistically and collaborate closely with the Business Management and Marketing teams, that are co-located in the Remitly London office. You will own collaboration and alignment rituals for Regional Marketing with non-US based teams.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in Marketing, with at least 5+ years experience in a go-to-market planning or strategic marketing role
  • Track record of delivering localized campaigns and offers to market targeting the Africa and South Asian audiences
  • Highly proficient in operating in a cross-functional setting and leading with influence, bringing together diverse perspectives and expertise toward shared outcomes
