We are seeking a Senior Analytics Manager with deep expertise in financial analytics and strategic problem-solving. This role is critical in shaping business strategy through advanced data analysis, forecasting, and scenario modelling. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical skills with commercial acumen, delivering insights that guide executive decisions, optimize portfolio performance, and identify new growth opportunities in the payments industry.
What you’ll own
Drive Strategic Insights: Apply advanced analytics, statistical modelling, and business intelligence techniques to identify growth opportunities, optimize portfolio performance, and inform strategic planning in the payments industry.
Executive-Level Analysis: Partner with senior leadership to deliver deep-dive performance analyses, scenario modelling, and forecasting that support strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
Market & Portfolio Analytics: Analyse transactional, financial, and customer behaviour data to uncover trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities that shape business strategy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Strategy, Finance, and Product teams to translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations for pricing, product development, and market positioning.
Data Infrastructure & Workflow Optimization: Design and maintain robust data pipelines and workflows (SQL, Python, or similar) to ensure efficient data preparation, integration, and analysis for strategic initiatives.
Visualization & Storytelling: Develop compelling dashboards and presentations that communicate complex insights clearly to senior stakeholders, enabling data-driven decisions.
Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the impact of strategic initiatives, refining models and approaches based on performance metrics and evolving market conditions.

What you bring
- Proven experience in data science with a strong emphasis on business analytics, financial modeling, and strategic decision support
- Expertise in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience in data preparation, cleaning, integration, and advanced analytics
- Strong background in statistical modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis to support portfolio optimization and growth strategies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of translating complex data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders
- Commercial mindset and strategic thinking, capable of influencing business decisions and driving measurable impact in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field
Desirable
- Experience working in a Snowflake platform environment
- Knowledge of PowerBI or Tableau
